Gun fired, accused arrested
A Flin Flon man has been arrested after allegedly firing a shotgun while verbally threatening passersby on North Avenue.
RCMP responded to the report last Saturday, June 28, arresting the 38-year-old man in the back alley of North Avenue.
As a result of their investigation, police seized two firearms and a quantity of ammunition.
The accused has been charged with four counts each of assault with a weapon and uttering threats, and one count each of careless use of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon dangerous to public and causing a disturbance.
He has been released and is due to appear in Flin Flon Provincial Court on Sept. 4.
