Manitobans will have the opportunity to attend pre-budget public consultations across the province or to share their suggestions for the upcoming budget in community meetings and online.
“We want to reach out to the maximum number of people, which is why we’re using a variety of ways to connect with residents across the province,” said Finance Minister Jennifer Howard.
The first consultations began Monday in Brandon as Howard met with a high school economics class.
Those unable to attend a meeting will be able to make a submission in writing to the minister by emailing [email protected]. mb.ca or by mail c/o Budget Consultations, Room 103, Legislative Building, 450 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0V8.
