Cross Lake is in mourning following the drowning of a three-year-old girl. Police on the northern Manitoba reserve were dispatched to the drowning at 6:30 p.m. last Friday, June 14. Two three-year-old girls were found unresponsive in the water. One girl was resuscitated and transported to hospital for treatment. The other girl was pronounced deceased.
