Flin Flon RCMP are searching for an unidentified man who offered an 11-year-old girl a ride near Ruth Betts Community School earlier this week.
Shortly after noon on Monday, Nov. 24, police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near the Fourth Avenue bridge, not far from the K-8 school.
A man driving a white van approached the girl, who was walking home for lunch, and asked if she wanted a ride.
When the girl refused, the man drove away without any further incident.
The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 40 years old with curly brown hair.
The van is described as an old white passenger van with rust on the back. It is also believed there is some type of numbering above the back tire on the passenger side. The licence plate is unknown.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
