A one-time HBMS geologist has been appointed exploration manager of Vancouver-based StrataGold Corporation. Jim Sparling spent nine years with the Flin Flon company as a geophysical crew chief and project geologist. During his HBMS stint, he was associated with the discovery and development of several mineral deposits, including the 777, Photo Lake, Konuto and Chisel North deposits in the Flin Flon-Snow Lake Belt. Sparling's new appointment will be effective immediately and it is expected that he will work closely with management in achieving StrataGold's goals. StrataGold Corporation is a precious metal exploration and development company focused on gold exploration in the Americas.
