Jonathon Naylor Editor Garbage is being tossed away carelessly and recreational vehicles operated recklessly just outside Creighton. Now town council is asking anyone with information to contact the town office or the RCMP. Recently, unidentified individuals have been dropping off garbage along the road behind the Highmoor Trucking sand pits. To combat the problem, the town has erected two 'no littering' signs along the road. Violators will be fined. Meanwhile, in the sand pits themselves, ATVers and dirtbikers have reportedly been zipping up and down the sand piles. Not only is this a noise and safety concern, but it also causes dust to blow into the community. The municipality has informed the RCMP of the problem, and officers will be monitoring the situation. Anyone with information on any crime in Creighton may contact the RCMP at 688-8888.
