The Flin Flon Ski Club will meet next week to discuss the future of its fire-ravaged A-frame building. The club's Dave Price said they will have to decide whether to refurbish the building or demolish it, and when the desired action will take place. A fire on Friday night gutted the triangular structure, which stretches across the entrance to the ski trail network. An investigation by the Flin Flon Fire Dept. found the blaze was probably electrical in origin. Fire Chief Jim Petrie said the fire was deepest in the electrical panel area of the building. Firefighters have since sealed off the facility, once used by officials to time various cross-country ski races. The A-frame has been a familiar sight to local skiers since being erected in 1980 with cedar logs from an abandoned section of railway outside of town.
