February 9 saw 26 folks gather at Beto's Restaurant in Mercedes, Texas for the February supper of Flin Flonners. Sadness was expressed with the passing of Don Burnett, one of our longÐtime winter Texans. Our condolences to Muriel and family from all in attendance. Happiness was also expressed in the announcement of the coming marriage of Donalda and Dan on February 10th in Weslace, Texas. Dan's brother and wife made the trip down from Kelowna for the happy occasion. The following folks at the supper wished them well: Mabel Parshall, Wayne and Edie Huffman, Joe and Orla Czettisch, Duncan and Maureen Lunam, Pat and Jim Karlson, Marlene and Larry Kirby, Jim and Audrey Parres, Al and Agnes Mills, Barry and Jeanette Smith, Glen and Lois Bryson, Donalda and Dan Hamilton, Joe and Diane Hamilton, Dave and Vera Dahl, Irene Huspak and Reg Luchuck. The next and final supper for the season will be at Beto's on March 8. Drop in if you are in the area.
