Trevor Fox led the Men’s Championship flight in the Trout Festival Golf Tournament earlier this month with a score of 68.
One stroke behind Fox was Darcy Salamondra, who took second in the men’s championship flight.
The tournament was held over the July 4 weekend with more than
60 golfers hitting the links at the Phantom Lake Golf Course.
Rounding out the championship flight for the men were Ray Shiran and Neil Goodman.
Sue Murray took top spot in the ladies’ championship flight with a score of 85, followed by Lori Salahub, Robbie Limoges and Rikki Crone.
Evyn Labarre took first spot in the first flight. Jamie Webber, Theon Janvier, Darren Ford and Kelly Post each won their flights, second through fifth, respectively.
Upcoming events include the ladies’ open, starting July 26, the seniors’ open on August 12, the juniors’ open on August 24 and the Labour Day Classic from September 5 through to the 7.
This year’s closing day tournament will be held September 12.
