The public is invited to attend a follow-up meeting to last month's forum on crime in Flin Flon and ways to reduce it. The RCMP will host the second meeting this Friday, Oct. 22, at Flin Flon City Hall beginning at 1 p.m. The facilitator of the first meeting, Greg Bankowski, has put together a Flin Flon and Area Community Police Model. At the first meeting, a cross-section of about 40 residents identified vandalism as their top crime concern for the community. The three other major concerns were substance abuse, crime prevention and traffic offenses. Everyone is invited to attend Friday's follow-up meeting.
