A man once employed in Pukatawagan has been arrested on allegations he sexually violated male youths on two Ontario reserves.
Casey Ignatious MacDonald, 51, was arrested in Calgary on Oct. 9. Charges against him include sexual interference with a person under the age of 16, sexual assault, forcible confinement and sexual exploitation.
The charges stem from alleged offences committed between 2010 and 2012 on Kasabonika Lake First Nation and Sandy Lake First Nation in Ontario.
A police news release noted MacDonald is also known to have been employed on the Manitoba reserves of Pukatawagan, Gods River, Oxford House and Fond Du Lac. He does not face allegations of wrongdoing in those communities.
