Jonathon Naylor Editor A former northern Manitoba teacher accused of sexually exploiting a student and possessing child pornography is back behind bars after allegedly breaching the conditions of his release. RCMP revealed this week that on Dec. 21, they arrested David John Boyce, 57, of Thompson and charged him with breach of recognizance. He remains in custody. In March 2012, Boyce, then a drama teacher at Thompson's R.D. Parker Collegiate, was charged with sexual exploitation of a female student. Within days he resigned from his job at the high school. Possession Then last November, Mounties charged Boyce with four child pornography-related charges, including possession and unlawfully making the illegal material available. Boyce joined R.D. Parker as a drama teacher in September of 2008. He is separated from his wife and has an adult daughter. When he resigned from his job, Boyce wrote on his Facebook page: 'It is with mixed emotions that I announce that I resigned my teaching position and am now planning a return to my spiritual home of Prince Rupert (in B.C.) at the end of June.'
