The enticing scent of barbecue filtered through the parking lot as North of 53 Consumer Co-op held its annual customer appreciation day last Saturday, June 27. Co-op general manager Tom Therien and board of directors vice-president Rob Schiefele kept the fires burning and the meat cooking.
