Flin Flon’s Boot Sale promises bargain-hunter’s paradise

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. And there will be plenty of treasures to find at the 16th annual Inner Wheel Club of Flin Flon Boot Sale on June 6.

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

And there will be plenty of treasures to find at the 16th annual Inner Wheel Club of Flin Flon Boot Sale on June 6.

The upper level of the Victoria Inn parking lot will have bargain-hunters on the prowl, rummaging through tables and the trunks of cars for antiques, home baking, crafts and an endless supply of goodies.

The annual event makes treasure hunting easy with many yard sales in one location.

The Boot Sale, which will also feature a barbecue and the popular Rotarian fries, is open to all community members both hunting for and selling treasures.

All funds raised from the barbecue and table rentals will be donated to a charity in need.

In years past, the Inner Wheel has donated to various organizations locally, nationally and internationally, including the Lord’s Bounty Food Bank, the PARTY risk-awareness program, Hapnot Collegiate bursary fund, Grandmothers for Grandmothers, organ donation and Rotary shelter boxes.

Those interested in having a table, at a cost of $15, may contact Inner Wheel member Anges Mills at 204-687-8204
or Betty Smith at
204-687-3298.

The Boot Sale will run from 10 am until 1 pm on Saturday, June 6.
