Two veteran Flin Flon school trustees were recently honoured for their service.
At last month’s Manitoba School Boards Association (MSBA) convention, trustees Murray Skeavington and Tim Davis accepted awards in recognition of their 12 years on the board.
Davis made the announcement while delivering a verbal report on the convention last week.
He and Skeavington joined the board in 2002. The only Flin Flon trustee with more years of service than them is Angela Simpson, first elected in 1982.
The MSBA convention took place in Winnipeg from March 19 to 21.
Among the guest speakers was former CFL coach Paul LaPolice.
