A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Tuesday, Nov. 10 to Sunday, Nov. 15, as provided by the RCMP:

Tuesday, Nov. 10

• Report of a male screaming inside an apartment building. Police attended and arrested an intoxicated male. He was lodged until sober.

• Report that a rock was thrown through a window of a Hapnot Street residence. A group of about four teenagers was seen leaving the location. Extensive patrols were made but the suspects were not located.

Wednesday, Nov. 11

No calls for service.

Thursday, Nov. 12

• Report of an intoxicated male at Flin Flon General Hospital. Police attended and arrested him. He was lodged until sober.

• Report of a theft from a Main Street business. Police attended and located two males involved in the theft.

• Report that a vehicle was “keyed.” The exact location of the incident was unknown and there are no suspects.

• Report of a hit-and-run collision that left damage to a vehicle in the parking lot of a Highway 10A business.

• Report that suspect(s) entered a vehicle on Green Street and stole a small amount of change and a backpack. The vehicle was likely left unlocked. There are no suspects at this time. Police wish to remind the public to secure vehicles when possible to deter suspects looking to enter.

Friday, Nov. 13

• Report that a rock was thrown through a window of a Second Avenue residence. A suspect was observed fleeing from the location and a description was provided to police. Police conducted extensive patrols, but the suspect was not located.

• Report of a female who had not been seen by her family for a while. After a brief investigation, she was located safe in The Pas.

• Report of a theft of a motor vehicle. The complainant entered a premises on Main Street while the suspect was left in the running vehicle to stay warm. When the complainant came outside, the vehicle was gone. Police investigated and located the vehicle in Pelican Narrows.

Saturday, Nov. 14

• Report of an intoxicated male in front of a Hill Street residence. Police attended and arrested him. He was lodged until sober.

• Report that two campers were damaged, with windows smashed out, on Timber Lane. Investigation ongoing.

• Report of an intoxicated male at a South Hudson Street residence. Police attended and arrested him. He was lodged until sober.

• Reports of a group of youths walking on Ross Lake. Police attended and located the youths next to the lake. Police advised them that the ice was unsafe to walk on. Police wish to remind the public that the weather being experienced this fall has led to unsafe or no ice conditions to this point, and any ice present should not be walked on.

• Report of two intoxicated males at a South Hudson Street residence. Police attended and were advised that the suspects had already left.

• Report of a group of people racing on the runway strip in Channing. Police attended and located the suspects.

• Report of a male who had left a residence and was described by the complainant as “depressed.” When they asked what the male did leading to the assumption he was depressed, police were advised that he left without saying anything. A short while later, he returned home unharmed.

• Report advising that yelling could be heard outside of a North Avenue residence. Police attended and were unable to locate any suspect(s). No further calls similar in nature were received.

Sunday, Nov. 15

• Report of vehicle being stolen from a Hapnot Street business. Complainant advised that their vehicle was left in a parking lot and when they returned the next day, it was gone. A short while later the complainant called police to advised the vehicle was moved to a safer location by a family member and it was not stolen.

• Report that suspect(s) had entered an unlocked Whitney Street garage. Nothing was stolen from the location, but a vehicle in the garage was also gone through. There are no suspects at this time. Police wish to remind the public to lock doors to garages and leave an outside light on if possible to deter suspects from entering an unlocked premises.

• Report that suspect(s) had entered an unlocked Danard Avenue garage. Two chainsaws were stolen. Investigation ongoing.

• Report that youths threw garbage at a pizza delivery car on Callinan Street. Suspect(s) were located and parents were spoken to at the request of the complainant.

• Report of an attempted break-and-enter to a Whitney Street garage. The complainant advised that the garage door was ajar but no entry to the premises was gained.
