Monday, May 11
• Report of a hit and run causing damage to a parked vehicle at a local grocery store. No suspects at this time.
• Report of damage to a screen on a Norma Avenue garage.
• Report of child welfare complaints at a Second Avenue residence.
• Report of a hit-and-run causing damage at a downtown restaurant.
• Police asked to check on wellbeing of a person in Channing. Police attended, person was fine.
• Report of a vehicle window broken on Church Street. Matter under investigation.
• Police attended a child custody matter on Green Street.
Tuesday, May 12
• Report of an intoxicated female at a South Hudson Street residence. Female was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an unleashed dog near Wallace Avenue. Animal control contacted.
• Report of four male youths playing tag on a roof on Callinan Street. Youths were gone upon police arrival.
• Report of intoxicated male who ripped off a North Avenue shed door. It is believed the door was ripped off because a cigarette was not provided when he asked for one. Complainant declined to lay a charge.
• Report of an assault on Hapnot Street. Complainant declined to lay a charge.
Wednesday, May 13
• Report of an alarm at a South Hudson Street business. Alarm was cancelled prior to police arrival. The same call came once on Saturday, May 16 and twice more on Sunday, May 17.
• Report of missing youth on Tweedsmuir Street. Youth was located a short time later.
• Report of a hit-and-run causing damage at a local grocery store. No suspects at this time.
• Report or two male youths shooting a slingshot at a Ross Street residence. Matter under investigation.
• Report of a female breaching court-ordered conditions at a Ross Street residence. Male was arrested, remanded in custody.
• Report of a single motor-vehicle collision on the Ski Chalet road. No injuries reported.
Thursday, May 14
• Report of a vehicle driving erratically in the Flintoba Shopping centre parking lot.
• Report of an intoxicated male and female causing a disturbance at Aspen Grove. Police could not locate the pair.
• Report of an unwanted female guest at a Hill Street residence. Female left prior to police arriving on scene.
• Report of a vehicle getting spraypainted on Parkway Boulevard. Matter under investigation.
• Report of an intoxicated male on Main Street. Police unable to locate him.
• Report of a child heard screaming near the Duck Pond. Investigation revealed two siblings throwing stones at each other.
• Report of two intoxicated patrons refusing to leave a local bar.
Friday, May 15
• Intoxicated male observed on Main Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a youth sitting on a roof, tearing off shingles. Youth located and returned to his parents.
Saturday, May 16
• Report of a group of youths hanging around on Hill Street.
• Intoxicated male observed staggering on Main Street. Police checks indicated he was on an undertaking to abstain from alcohol. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a group of 10 people fighting on the 100 Stairs. Police attended but nothing physical happened, only verbal argument.
• Report of a male and female youth having a verbal argument on Main Street.
• Report of a family disturbance on South Hudson Street.
• Report of a male and female having an argument outside a Hill Street residence.
• Report of a theft of a game console from a Hill Street residence. Matter under investigation.
• Report of an intoxicated male at a Hapnot Street residence. Male arrested and found to be on a conditional sentence order.
Sunday, May 17
• Report of domestic disturbance at a North Avenue residence. Police attended and found an intoxicated male with a wound on his head. His intoxicated spouse was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.
• Report of an argument between and a male and female. No physical altercation took place.
• Report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at a local hotel. The male has been banned.
