A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Tuesday, May 31 to Monday, June 6, as provided by the RCMP:

Tuesday, May 31

• Report of a male passed out on a walking path. Members attended and spoke with the male, who was just waking up from sleeping for the night and did not see an issue or cause for concern with his resting place. He continued on with his day.

• Police were called to a business where five to six people were standing outside and asking people for cigarettes and if they wanted to fight. Police made patrols, but the group had already left.

• Police patrolling Hapnot Street located a highly intoxicated male. He was provided a place to sleep for the night.

• Report of an intoxicated female throwing garbage around outside a Callinan Street residence. She was arrested and remanded in custody for breaching court conditions.

Wednesday, June 1

• Report of a break and enter that occurred overnight at a Ross Street residence. Matter under investigation.

• Report of a disturbance at an Aspen Grove residence. An intoxicated male was inside and would not settle down or leave. He was lodged in cells to sober up.

• Police were called to Church Street. A group of people were hanging around, acting suspicious. Police patrolled the area but were not able to locate the group.

• Report of a large bear in the parking lot of a Highway 10A business. Police attended but the bear had fled the area.

• Report of mischief to a vehicle on Manitoba Ave. Matter under investigation. 

• Report of an assault at a Main Street business. Upon arrival, members spoke with the complainant, who did not wish to proceed with charges.

• Police patrolling Main Street located an intoxicated male staggering on the sidewalk. He was taken into custody until sober.

Thursday, June 2

• Police were at Flin Flon General Hospital and located an intoxicated male asleep in the waiting room. He did not need to see medical staff but had no place to sleep. Member provided him with a cell to sleep for the night.

• Report of a domestic dispute at an Aspen Grove residence. Before police arrived, male involved had left to cool off for the night.

• Police were called to a Callinan Street residence to assist Child and Family Services. Matter still under investigation.

• Report of an unwanted guest at a North Avenue residence. The male left the area prior to police arrival. 

• Police called to a Main Street business for an intoxicated male who was falling asleep in the entry way. He was lodged in cells until sober.

• Report of a youth who was out past his curfew. He was located and taken home. He stated he had lost track of time.

Friday, June 3

• Report of a person laying in the ditch with two dogs on Ross Street. Police attended and located a bag of garbage along with two coyotes hanging around.

• Police were called to a Hillcrest Avenue residence for a youth who was not home on time for a meeting. Police patrolled the area and later returned to find the youth had come home.

• Report of an assault at a Ross Street residence. Police attended and spoke with the complainant, who did not want to pursue charges and stated the female had left.

• Report of possible animal abuse on Tweedsmuir Street. Police attended and spoke with the owner. No sign of abuse or neglect was observed.

• Police patrolling Angel Avenue located an intoxicated male sleeping on the roadway. He was taken into custody. While transporting him to a cell, police located the male’s friend, also intoxicated, on Main Street. Both were provided a cell until sober.

• Report of an intoxicated male in the Flin Flon General Hospital parking lot. He was located and placed in a cell with his two friends, who had been lodged earlier.

Saturday, June 4

• Report of mischief to a vehicle on Longmore Avenue. Matter under investigation.

• Police conducted a curfew check on a female at an Aspen Grove residence. She was not at home and will now be facing a breach charge.

Sunday, June 5

• Report of mischief at a Green Street residence. Matter under investigation.

• Report of a possible impaired driver on Green Street. Police were not able to locate the vehicle. 

• Report of a male sitting in the middle of the road on Green Street. Patrols were made but he had left the area and was not located.

• Police stopped a vehicle on Island Drive. The driver refused to provide a sample on a roadside screening device. Charges pending.

• Report of a suicidal male on the Perimeter Highway.

• Police received an incomplete 911 call to a Ross Street residence. Police attended and learned it was a pocket dial.

Monday, June 6

• Report of used needles being found on Hapnot Street. Police attended and destroyed the items.

• Report of an intoxicated male at Flin Flon General Hospital. Police attended but the male had since left.

• Report of a fight outside a Main Street business. Police attended and both parties involved had gone their separate ways.
