A summary of calls to police received between Jan. 5-11, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
Jan. 5
Report of people attempting to get into a residence and climbing on the roof in order to gain access. Patrols were made however police were unable to find the suspects. Peter Parker is considered a strong suspect.
Report of people approaching a person near a business and allegedly pulling a knife and threatening the complainant. The complainant reported it however did not want police assistance as they did not want to be seen as a “snitch”.
911 hang up call received. Upon call back, the caller reported they no longer needed police.
Report of a person kicking at the door of a residence. Police attended but the kicker had already left.
Jan. 6
Report of a domestic assault where a weapon was used to assault the victim. A person was arrested and released on conditions with a first appearance in court Feb. 6.
Report of a person causing a disturbance at a local eatery. The person left prior to police arrival.
Report of person passed out inside a residence and the homeowner would like them removed. Police attended and arrested and lodged the subject of complaint.
Report of person passed out in an ATM vestibule at a local financial institution. Police attended and arrested and lodged the subject of complaint.
Jan. 7
Report of a possible theft of phone. Matter is under investigation, however, it turns out the suspect had a warrant for their arrest in regards to another matter. The warrant was dealt with and the person was remanded in custody.
A person called advising they had just removed someone from their residence after a verbal altercation and they were concerned that person could come back. The complainant was advised to keep their doors locked and should the person come back, call police. No further calls received.
Report of person passed out in the lobby of a hostel. Police attended and found the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of a person leaving a residence after consuming illegal substances and looking “overdosey”. Patrols were made but police could not locate the subject of complaint. No further calls received and the subject of complaint has been seen since then.
Jan. 8
Intoxicated person calls stating they want another intoxicated person removed from the residence. All parties agreed to go to sleep.
Report of a theft of medication.
Report of a break and enter to a residence. Matter under investigation.
Report of two intoxicated people hanging out in the lobby of a local hostel. Police attended and arrested and lodged both subjects of complaint.
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence refusing to leave. Police attended and escorted the subject of complaint out who had no place to go. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence causing problems and scaring kids. Police attended and arrested and lodged the problem causer.
Report of attempted armed robbery at a local hotel. The suspect left empty handed. Matter under investigation.
While police were investigating attempted armed robbery at said hotel, an unlucky very intoxicated person stumbled into the lobby. Given the person's level of intoxication, they were arrested and lodged.
Jan. 9
Report of people kicking at the door of a residence. Police attended and found a person leaving the residence. The person was detained and searched and a knife was located within the vicinity of this person. The person was arrested and charged with possession of weapon for dangerous purpose. The person was remanded in custody.
Report of an intoxicated person passing out in lobby of local hostel. Police attended and arrested the subject of complaint.
Report of an intoxicated person sleeping in a local business. Police attended and provided a wake-up call. Afterwards, the person was arrested and lodged.
Report of person walking into a residence not belonging to them but leaving shortly after.
Third party complaint of suspicious person attempting to talk to a person in their vehicle.
Report of a person assaulting their ex-partner. A person was later arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, choking to overcome resistance to an offence, being unlawfully in dwelling house, uttering threats, assault, disobeying a court order, and failing to comply with probation… and this was just in regards to one file.
Jan. 10
Report of person getting mad at their designated driver for running out of gas and then kicking the vehicle. Boy, they seem reasonable.
Report of intoxicated people inside the library.
Report of intoxicated people in the lobby of a local hostel.
Report of an assault on Main Street.
Report of a person assaulting a female and trying to take away items from her. Three people were arrested and charged with numerous offences ranging from robbery, assault, breaching their court orders, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer and the list goes on. Two of the three were remanded in custody with one person being released to appear in court on a future court date.
Report of two people passed out in the lobby of a local business. Police attended and located both people still passed out. They were arrested and lodged.
Report of a person being robbed of their alcohol by a person. Two people were arrested and charged in relation to this offence. They face charges ranging from robbery and choking to overcome resistance to an offence to breaching court orders. One male was remanded as he was involved in other investigations this date and yesterday and the other was released to appear in court on a future date.
While dealing with other matters, police arrested individuals involved in multiple offences. Two other people were on scene and were also arrested for being unlawful in a dwelling house, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer and breaching their court ordered conditions. Both persons were remanded in custody.
Jan. 11
Third party complaint from a person out of province stating they received a call from someone and they could hear screaming and a disturbance. Police attended and deemed this was a false complaint.
Report of a person breaching their no contact conditions. The complainant wanted the person warned therefore a warning was given.
Report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance outside the entrance. Police attended and located the person mid-disturbance causing. The person was arrested and lodged and was not very happy about it.
Report of an intoxicated person stumbling around and falling in the snow. Police located the very cold person who was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in the middle of the road. Police attended, located the person still passed out, awoke them and arrested and lodged them.
Report of loud party at a residence. The party dispersed before police arrived.
