A summary of calls to police from Feb. 9-15, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
Feb. 9
While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated person in front of a local business. The person was arrested, offered a ride home but refused to tell police where they could take them therefore they were offered housing services courtesy of the police for the evening.
Report of a trio of intoxicated people in front of a local business. Police attended and located the group as described. All three were arrested and lodged.
Report of a person knocking at a residence asking for assistance. Police attended and located the person who advised that they had been hit by a chair earlier on. They did not want the wannabe wrestler charged, only warned. No rematches are set in the future.
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence scaring the people inside. Police attended but the person causing issues had left.
Feb. 10
Report of an intoxicated roommate in a residence who was “out of control”. Police attended and confirmed the report, therefore the subject of complaint was arrested and lodged.
Report of liquor being stolen from liquor store. Matter is under investigation.
Report of person intoxicated in a residence claiming to be an MMA fighter and trying to fight people. Police attended, located the subject of complaint and took them into custody without much resistance. This puts the fighters record win/loss record at 0-1.
Report of a group of people fighting in front of a residence. Police attended but the group dispersed.
Feb. 11
Report of an assault between extended family members. However, shortly after the assault was reported, the complainant decided they did not want the person charged.
Report of a fight in a local bar. Police attended but neither combatant wanted charges laid in the matter.
Feb. 12
Report of a missing person however they returned a few days later.
Report of an intoxicated couple fighting in a local lobby of a hostel. Police attended and located the aggressor who was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out on the stairs of a local hostel. Police attended and located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of a person having been kicked out of a bar and when they left a knife fell out of their pocket. Police attended and located 2 persons nearby too intoxicated to care for themselves. Both were arrested and lodged. The original subject of complaint was not located.
Report from a person stating they were just punched. They did not want the person charged nor did they want them to return to the residence.
Report of a vehicle breaking down and blocking traffic. Police attended and assisted in pushing the vehicle out of the way.
Report of intoxicated person sitting in the lobby of a personal care home despite visiting hours being over. Police attended and found the person as described who could not provide an alternate address to bring them to. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of intoxicated person having been medically cleared from hospital but was too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the subject of complaint.
While on patrol, police located two people drinking alcohol in an ATM vestibule. Both were arrested and lodged.
Feb. 13
Report of intoxicated person trying to break windows at a residence. Police attended and located the window breaker who was arrested and lodged. The complainant did not want any charges laid.
Report of intoxicated person passed out in an entry way to a business. Police attended and found the person as described, who was arrested and lodged.
Report of people arguing and drinking near the hospital. Police attended and found one person with open alcohol on them. Their alcohol was poured out and they people were sent on their way.
Report of intoxicated people congregating in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and found a group of people nearby however none were intoxicated.
Feb. 14
Report of an intoxicated person threatening to shoot people within a residence, then going next door to do the same. The person was located and taken into custody without incident. Shortly after, police were alerted that there was a restricted firearm located in the accused’s room. The firearm was seized and the person was charged with multiple firearms charges, among other charges. The person was remanded in custody.
Report of an intoxicated person having been seen on the highway. Police attended but found no such person.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.
Feb. 15
Report of a vehicle in the ditch and the driver is believed to be impaired. Police attended and identified the driver whose ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The person was arrested and refused to provide breath samples. The person was lodged in cells and released on a future court date.
Report of a supposed fight on the street between 2 people. Police attended but found no one in the area.
Report of a person seeming suffering a heart attack on the bathroom stall floor. Police attended and found it was a person just taking a nap. They were awake by the time police arrived and were told to scram.
Report of an argument in a residence where things were being thrown around.
Report of a person at the hospital having been medically cleared but too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and arrested and lodged the individual.
Report of an intoxicated person bringing other intoxicated people in a residence to party and their roommate did not take kindly to this.
