A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, July 13 to Sunday, July 19:
Monday, July 13
• Report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance at a South Hudson Street residence by hitting herself in the head. She was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a male that was knocking on his ex’s door and refusing to leave. He had left prior to police arrival, but was located and spoken to regarding his behaviour.
• Report of a multiple-hit alarm at Wright Avenue business. Alarm deemed to be false.
• Report of a young male running into the bush on Little Cliff Lake Road as fire crews arrived on scene for a fire call. He could not be located.
Tuesday, July 14
• Report of an intoxicated patient at the Flin Flon General Hospital that had been medically cleared. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a break and enter to a Tweedsmuir Street residence. Numerous electronic items were stolen. Matter under investigation.
• Report of a male causing a disturbance by yelling at clerks at a Main Street bank. He will be banned from the property.
• Report of a Channing resident who had left garbage outside that was now blowing in the wind. The majority of the garbage found was of a pornographic nature. Police attended the residence to speak to the property rep.
• Report of an intoxicated male passed out in the back lane of Main Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an intoxicated male who was having trouble walking in the uptown area. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• An intoxicated male observed trying to start fights on Main Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• An intoxicated male observed walking on Third Avenue. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an unattended four-year-old at a downtown gas station. The child was returned to their residence. Child and Family Services has been contacted.
• Report from a mother who said her 14-year-old son would not listen to her and follow the rules. She was advised this was not a police matter and suggested to call Child and Family Services.
Wednesday, July 15
• Report of about 10 youths on Hill Street wearing all black. The complainant thought they would have broken her window. Patrols were made and three youths were found and taken home to their parents. The parents were unaware the youths had been outside.
• Report of a domestic disturbance at an Adams Street residence. Matter under investigation.
• Report of a break and enter to a Wallace Avenue residence. Numerous electronic items were taken along with some cash. Matter under investigation.
• Report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at a local hotel. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an intoxicated male walking on Highway 10A. Patrols for him were negative.
• Cell phone reported stolen on Hapnot Street.
• Report of a break and enter to a Willow Crescent residence where a safe containing money was taken. Matter under investigation.
• Report of a white and green dirt bike driving on Dominion Boulevard. Patrols for the dirt bike were unsuccessful.
• Report of four youths climbing down the water tower on Grandview Street. The youths were located and spoken to.
• Report of a missing child from Hill Street. The child was located a short time later.
• Report of children playing in a vacant Aspen Grove apartment. The landlord was contacted and locked the doors.
Thursday, July 16
• Report of a suspicious person on Hill Street. The female caller reported an unknown male introduced himself to her and when she put her hand out to shake it, he appeared to have a knife taped to his arm. Patrols for the male were unsuccessful.
• Report of a break and enter to a Centennial Crescent residence. Numerous household items were stolen. Matter under investigation.
• Report of threats on Hapnot Street in which a male threatened to kill a female. A male was arrested. Charges are pending.
• Report of a disturbance on Hill Street. A male stated he was getting a knife and was not going with police. He complied with police upon their arrival.
• Report of two males drinking beer behind a Main Street business. They were arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a male refusing to leave a Hill Street residence. Police arrived and the male had since left.
Friday, July 17
• Report of buses speeding on Green Street and using their engine breaks.
• Report of a break and enter to a Hapnot Street residence. Matter under investigation.
• An intoxicated male was observed staggering on Third Avenue and decided to cross the street in front of a vehicle. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of suicide threats at Aspen Grove.
Saturday, July 18
• Report of an intoxicated male on Hapnot Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a group of youths that threw an item through a Kingsway Boulevard window. Patrols for the youth were unsuccessful.
• Report of break-and-enter in progress on Steventon Boulevard. While en route, police were advised that a male suspect was now attempting to steal an ATV. A male was arrested on scene.
• Report of an unknown person shooting at a parked vehicle on Adams Street. Patrols for the person were unsuccessful.
• Report of a domestic disturbance on Ross Street. An intoxicated female was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a possible intoxicated male leaving a Bracken Street residence. The vehicle was later located in Creighton with no occupants.
• Report of a taxi driver making an illegal u-turn on Main Street. The complainant requested the driver to be spoken to.
Sunday, July 19
• A vehicle check on the Trout Lake mine road resulted in a minor seizure of marijuana. No charges were laid.
• An intoxicated complaint requested a male be removed from a Callinan Street residence. The caller did not provide proper details, which resulted in the male not being located.
