A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, May 25 to Sunday, May 31:
Monday, May 25
• Report of an intoxicated female sitting on Main Street. She was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an intoxicated male at an uptown service provider. Police located the male, who was on conditions not to consume alcohol. He was arrested and lodged until sober. He has been charged with failing to comply with his undertaking.
• Report of young children sitting on propane tanks near the 100 Stairs. The children were located and spoken to about trespassing.
• Report of a domestic disturbance on Hill Street. No physical altercation took place. The two participants were separated for the night. Alcohol a factor.
Tuesday, May 26
• Report of a vehicle broken into on Waldron Avenue. No damage and nothing stolen.
• Report of theft from a Main Street business. Suspect has been identified. Investigation continues.
• Report of an intoxicated male and female causing a disturbance at a Main Street establishment. They were arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a domestic disturbance on Church Street. Nothing physical. Male had left prior to police arrival.
• Report of suspicious males on the Perimeter Highway. Police could not locate the males.
• Report of threats from one female to another on South Hudson Street. Complainant did not press charges and wanted police to talk to the caller.
Wednesday, May 27
• Report of argument between three females and a male on Main Street. Police attended to keep the peace.
• Report of a hit and run to a vehicle on Hill Street. Police located driver, who was unaware she had struck a vehicle as there was no damage to her vehicle.
• Report of stolen cheques from a Creighton residence, one of which was cashed at a Green Street business. Suspect identified. Investigation continues.
• Report of a nine-year-old boy who had been left alone by mother. He was scared. An uncle attended a short time later.
• Report of someone dumping garbage into another’s garbage can on South Main Street. Complainant advised to supply a lock for his garbage can.
• Police located intoxicated male on Main Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of 911 call where yelling was heard on South Hudson Street. Police attended but no one was located. Investigation revealed nothing physical occurred.
• Report of assault behind Main Street business. Female punched another female in face. Complainant declined to lay charges.
Thursday, May 28
• 911 call from female caller requesting her mother be removed from the residence. Police arrived but the intoxicated complainant changed her mind and decided to watch a movie with her mother.
• Report of noise complaint at Aspen Grove apartments. Police attended and spoke with property rep.
• Police attended Aspen Grove for an alleged assault. Investigation revealed an intoxicated female slipped on cheese pizza and fell down.
• Report of alarm on Hapnot Street that was later deemed false.
Friday, May 29, 2015
• Police requested to check on wellbeing of person on Adams Street. Individual located.
• Report of assault on North Avenue during drinking party. Victim was transported to Flin Flon General Hospital for treatment but refused to cooperate with investigation.
• Report of assault that occurred about seven days earlier. Matter under investigation.
• Report of kids trespassing at a Callinan Street residence. Property owner asked them to leave and kids yelled derogatory things at complainant.
• Report of kids disturbing ducks at the Duck Pond. Complainant asked kids to stop and they swore at her. Police attended but the kids were gone.
Saturday, May 30
• Report of domestic disturbance at Church Street. Investigation revealed nothing physical.
• Report of intoxicated female needed to be removed from a residence. Complainant stated it would be okay for female to return to the residence the following day to drink. Police escorted female to a sober relative.
• Report of collision between semi truck and pickup truck on Main Street. No injuries.
• Report of intoxicated male patient at Flin Flon General Hospital. He was provided with a ride to a sober relative.
• Report of broken window on Tweedsmuir Street. No suspects at this time.
• Intoxicated male observed on steps of a Main Street business. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• 911 call on South Hudson Street. Police attended and learned that intoxicated female was threatening to hit her mother. Police unable to locate female.
Sunday, May 31
• Report of two people who were not moving on Third Avenue. Police attended and found a group of people stargazing.
• Report of minors apparently drinking in an uptown parking lot. Police attended but no minors were located.
• Report of two youth females looting a recently fire-stricken business on Main Street. One female caught. Matter under investigation.
• Report of two kids playing on a trailer behind an uptown business. Police attended but youth was not located.
• Report of intoxicated female at a South Hudson Street residence. Female arrested and lodged until sober.
