A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for Monday, June 15 to Sunday, June 21:
Monday, June 15
• Report of a bear on Third Avenue that was later reported on Boam Street. The bear was not located. Conservation was advised of the bear sightings.
• Report of a dispute between neighbours on South Main Street.
• Report of an intoxicated male sniffing gas from a bag on Highway 10A. He was located, arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a missing elderly person on Tweedsmuir Street who was located a short time later.
• Report of an intoxicated male on Hapnot Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of some stolen bikes located at Aspen Grove.
• Report of an alarm at a South Hudson Street business. The alarm was cancelled prior to police arrival.
Tuesday, June 16
• Report of an assault on Hill Street. Two females broke a window and pulled the hair of the complainant. Matter under investigation.
• Report from Citizens on Patrol of suspicious activity on First Avenue. Police attended and investigation revealed the suspicious activity was a group of males who had returned from a fishing trip and were unloading their boat.
• Report of an intoxicated female on Main Street. She was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a male causing a disturbance at the court office.
• Report of a dispute involving property of a separated couple.
• Report of an intoxicated male disturbing patrons at a local grocery store. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an intoxicated male urinating in a South Main Street yard. Police attended but could not locate him.
• Police attended a family dispute between a mother and a daughter at Aspen Grove.
• Police attended to a child custody dispute at Aspen Grove.
Wednesday, June 17
• Alarm at Hapnot Collegiate. Investigation revealed the alarm had not been set properly prior to staff leaving.
• Report of loud music on Bellevue Avenue. Police attended and spoke with the property rep.
• Report of an intoxicated male breaching his court-ordered conditions on Main Street. He could not be located.
• Report of an unlocked vehicle being rummaged through on Dadson Row. Stolen were $15 and a diaper bag.
• Report of a break-and-enter to a Dadson Row garage. Unknown if anything was stolen.
• Report of an unlocked vehicle being rummaged through on Green Street. Nothing reported missing.
• Report of an intoxicated male passed out on a sewer box behind Hill Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an assault in the parking lot of a local hotel. The complainant did not want to pursue charges, only to have the subject of complaint spoken to.
Thursday, June 18
• Alarm at a South Hudson Street business. Alarm cancelled by the property rep.
• Report of theft of a motor vehicle on South Main Street. The vehicle was taken as a result of a verbal business agreement between two people that went sour.
• The SPCA required assistance in apprehending a cat that the owners were reportedly trying to put into the Duck Pond.
• Report of a theft of a tablesaw from a local hardware store. Matter is under investigation.
• Report of two males spray-painting the Perimeter Highway.
• 911 call in which the only sound was that of people yelling in the background. Call was traced to a Hill Street residence. The property rep said they had been sitting on the deck when their party was crashed by unwanted guests who were intoxicated. Patrols for the subjects were unsuccessful.
• Report of a vehicle that went through a stop sign on Green Street. The vehicle was located and the driver spoken to.
Friday, June 19
• Report of a disturbance on Hill Street. Police attended and it was learned that two friends had a disagreement and a consensual fight ensued.
• Alarm at a Flintoba Shopping Centre business. Alarm cancelled prior to police arrival.
• Two reports of break-and-enters to garages on Lancaster Crescent. Suspects were observed on surveillance cameras. Matter under investigation.
• Report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at Aspen Grove. Male was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a hit-and-run causing damage to a vehicle in the Flintoba Shopping Centre parking lot.
• An intoxicated male was observed walking on Highway 10A. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a domestic disturbance on Third Avenue. Investigation revealed that nothing physical had occurred.
• Complaint of a male playing his stereo too loud. Police attended and spoke to him.
Saturday, June 20
• Report that a female was drinking at the Royal Hotel and was supposed to be taking care of her grandchildren. The grandchildren were located at her residence in the care of sober adults.
• Report of a domestic disturbance at an Aspen Grove apartment. Police attended and investigation revealed nothing physical had occurred.
• Report of an intoxicated male lying in the middle of Third Avenue. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an intoxicated female behind the Royal Hotel. She was arrested and lodged until her mother picked
her up.
• Report of a missing female from Aspen Grove. She left the apartment in an intoxicated state after an argument. She was located later that day in The Pas.
• Report of an intoxicated male bothering his sister at Aspen Grove. He left the scene prior to police arrival.
• Report of an unknown male looking into an open door at a Bellevue Avenue residence. When the male observed people in the residence, he ran away. He was observed leaving the area in a newer model Ford crew cab truck with a Saskatchewan plate.
• Report that a neighbour’s garage doors were open on Centennial Crescent and the complainant did not believe his neighbour was home. Police attended and the neighbor was home.
Sunday, June 21
• Police attended a family dispute on Queen Street.
• Report of an intoxicated male youth lying on the ground near Highway 10A. He had urinated himself and was unable to provide police with his address. He was arrested and lodged until sober, at which time his mother picked him up.
• Report of a female who was assaulted by two other females on Hill Street. The females were allegedly attempting to try and take a backpack that contained beer. Matter under investigation.
