A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, June 20 to Sunday, June 26, as provided by the RCMP:
Monday, June 20
• An individual reported that someone had been found inside their neighbour’s garage. Patrols were made but no one was located, nor did the actual homeowner call police to report this.
• Report of a suspicious male standing in a doorway of a residence. He ran away when chased off by a dog.
• Report of a female laying on the ground. The caller thought she had been pushed by her boyfriend. Police attended and learned the female fell because she was drunk.
• Report of a male spotted on Main Street despite being on conditions not to attend Flin Flon. He was arrested, charged and remanded into custody.
• Report of a disturbance coming from an apartment. Police attended and learned there had been a physical altercation involving multiple people but no one wanted to pursue charges.
• Report of a bike and bike trailer being stolen from a residence.
Tuesday, June 21
• Report of a dispute at a residence involving intoxicated people. Police attended and learned one of the males was bothering a female. The male went to sleep in his own residence.
• Report of a bike being stolen from a residence.
• Report of a group of people smoking drugs in public. Police attended and found a lone male eating soup.
• Report of a male intox-icated and sleeping on the stairs of a local business. Police attended and arrested and lodged the male.
• Report of a quad and dirt bike racing on a residential street.
• Report of a missing adult female. She was located in Regina after she phoned home.
• Report of an intoxicated male at a gas station asking people for money. Police attended and arrested the male due to his state of intoxication.
• Report of an intoxicated female yelling at people at a party. Police attended and arrested the female.
Wednesday, June 22
• Report of a domestic dispute at a residence. Police attended and spoke to the subjects, who admitted to yelling at one another but had since calmed down.
• Report of males skateboarding at a local gas station. When asked to leave, they called the employee a derogatory term. The males then left on their own accord.
Thursday, June 23
• Report of a male who would not leave a residence. He left prior to police arrival and was told not to return.
• Report of a missing child. The child was later located near Cranberry Portage.
• Report of a bush fire off of the Perimeter Highway. Police and firefighters attended, and the fire was extinguished.
• Report of children playing on a trampoline in their neighbour’s yard and damaging it. The parents were able to sort the matter out.
• Report of a male passed out near a picnic area. He was arrested and lodged.
• Report of an intoxicated male in front of a Main Street business. He was located, arrested and lodged.
• Report from a male motorcyclist advising that a vehicle passed him, kicking up rocks at the motorcyclist. The driver of the vehicle was spoken to.
• Report of an intoxicated male bothering a female while she was caring for children. The male was located, arrested and lodged.
• A very intoxicated male attended the RCMP detachment advising he was being chased by children. He was arrested and lodged in cells, where he could remain safe from the children.
Friday, June 24
• Report of a fight in progress between a group of males near an elementary school. The males were located, arrested and lodged in cells.
• Several calls received of an intoxicated male stumbling into traffic. He was located, arrested and lodged.
• Report of a male threatening a female at her residence. Matter is under investigation.
• Report of a 911 hang-up call at a residence. Police attended and spoke to the occupants, all of whom denied calling 911. Nothing suspicious observed.
Saturday, June 25
• While on patrol, police located an intoxicated male passed out in front of a Main Street business. He was subsequently arrested and lodged.
• Report of a bear in a residential area going through garbage.
• Report that a male was hanging around a female’s residence although she was not home. Police attended and the suspect had already left.
• Report of a male and female arguing with one another behind a local bar. The male was arrested for causing a disturbance and lodged.
Sunday, June 26
• Report of a loud party going on all day. Police spoke to the party host, who agreed to keep the noise and music down.
• Report regarding an intoxicated female at Flin Flon General Hospital who had been cleared medically. Staff were concerned for her safety. She was transported to her sober husband, who agreed to care for her for the night.
• Report of a 911 hang-up call from a residence. Police attended and learned it was children playing with the phone.
