A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, Oct. 19 to Sunday, Oct. 25:
Monday, Oct. 19
• Report of a panic alarm to a Waldron Avenue residence. Investigation revealed the alarm to be false.
Tuesday, Oct. 20
• No calls for service.
Wednesday, Oct. 21
• Report of a request to locate a female adult on Fifth Avenue. The complainant reported his spouse had been drinking with a friend and then left to go the bar to have a few more. She returned home the next day after spending the night at a friend’s house.
• Report of an intoxicated male at Flin Flon General Hospital who had been cleared by medical staff. The male was arrested and lodged until sober. Police checks revealed the male had an outstanding warrant in Saskatchewan. He was remanded and transported back to Pelican Narrows to deal with the outstanding charges.
• Report of a two-vehicle collision at the Green Street-Highway 10A intersection. Investigation revealed that one of the drivers failed to stop for the red light. The driver has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
• Report of some found items in a garage on Whitney Street that did not belong to the property rep.
• Report of graffiti to a residence on North Avenue. No suspects at this time.
Thursday, Oct. 22
• Report of two males fighting at a Queens Street residence. Police attended and separated the two males, who were known to each other. As police were attempting to speak with one of the males, he became increasingly aggressive and was arrested for breach of the peace. His anger got the best of him and he decided to head butt the side window of the police vehicle, shattering the window. He was lodged until sober and is facing mischief charges.
• Report of a domestic assault on Fifth Avenue. A male on scene was arrested and will be charged accordingly.
• Report of damage to a parked vehicle at the Flintoba Shopping Centre. No suspects at this time.
• Report of an assault at a Hapnot Street residence involving a male and a female over property. Matter under investigation.
• Report of a disturbance at a Tweedsmuir Street apartment complex. One neighbour was blaming another for a break and enter to an apartment.
• Report of an intoxicated male lying on the ground near Main Street. He stated he had been pushed to the ground. Matter under investigation.
• Report of suicide threats on Green Street.
• An intoxicated male was observed staggering on Main Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
Friday, Oct. 23
• Report of a vehicle parked on Church Street that had slipped into neutral and rolled into a stop sign.
• Report of an intoxicated male sniffing gas on Church Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a hit-and-run to a parked vehicle on Centre Street. No suspects at this time.
• Report of an alarm at a Parkway Boulevard garage. Investigation revealed the homeowner was working in his garage and was unaware the alarm was armed.
• Report of an approximately 10-year-old child sitting on the side of the Perimeter Highway. Police attended and found a group of six teenagers sitting on the rocks.
• Report of a group of kids playing “knock, knock ginger” at a Whitney Street residence. Patrols were made in the area but could not locate the culprits.
Saturday, Oct. 24
• Report of a Whitney Street garage that had been entered overnight. Nothing was reported missing.
• Report of a van window being smashed on Second Avenue. No suspects at this time.
• Report of a male who had exited a North Avenue residence and confronted a male walking past for his shoes and jacket. The male refused and he was then punched in the face. The accused was located a short time later and arrested.
• Report of a youth who had stolen $40 from her grandmother on Second Avenue.
• Report of an intoxicated male patient causing a disturbance at Flin Flon General Hospital. Once cleared medically, he was arrested and lodged until sober.
Sunday, Oct. 25
• Report of a fight between two males at a local bar.
• Report of a set of ping golf clubs and some loose change stolen from a parked vehicle on Church Street. The owner had accidentally left the window open.
• Report of two intoxicated males staggering around on South Main Street. Both were arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a break-and-enter to a Hillcrest Avenue garage. An Acer laptop was stolen.
• Three people observed on a security camera on Church Street wearing bandanas and carrying bats.
• Report of an upset male who had begun to throw furniture around his residence.
• Report of an intoxicated male who had left a local hotel. Patrols were made, but he could not be located.
• Report of a possible breach of conditions at a Hiawatha Avenue residence.
• Report of a broken window at a Hapnot Street apartment building.
