A summary of calls to police from April 26-May 2, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
April 26
Report of an intoxicated person knocking on a door of a residence. Police attended but the knocker had left.
Report of a person making a comment that their partner thought insinuated they were thinking of self-harm. Police made contact with the person who stated it was all a misunderstanding.
April 27
Report of an intoxicated person bothering customers at a local financial institution. Police attended and located the person as described, who was arrested and lodged.
Report of a person outside of a residence challenging the homeowner a round of fisticuffs. The owner did not oblige and the contender was gone upon police arrival.
While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated person leaning against a building. The person had no sober people to look after them therefore they were arrested and lodged.
Report of a loud argument being heard from inside a residence. Police attended but all was calm.
April 28
Report of an intoxicated person having left hospital while intoxicated stating they were going to sleep in an ATM vestibule. Police found the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of a person expressing ideations of self-harm, however when police arrived it was learned this was a misunderstanding over word choices.
Report of a person mad at restaurant staff over an order then throwing items at the restaurant. Police located the customer who was taken into custody. The person was later taken for a mental health assessment.
Report of dogs attacking persons and another dog.
While on patrol, police located three intoxicated people passed out at various businesses. All were arrested and lodged.
Report of a passed out person on a sidewalk. Police attended and found the person was very intoxicated therefore they were arrested and lodged.
Report of a dispute where a barbecue was thrown.
Report of a very intoxicated person walking down the highway. Police located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of a fight between a parent and their child. Police attended and located the parent still on scene who was intoxicated. The parent was arrested and lodged.
Report of people not self-isolating. Police educated the homeowners on the current restrictions.
Report of an intoxicated person kicking at a door of a residence. Police spoke to the homeowner who did not want charges laid in the matter.
Report of a fight between groups of youths. No charges to be laid as per the complainants.
April 29
Report of a youth borrowing someone’s vehicle without asking first. The vehicle was returned and the youth was given a stern talking-to.
Report of a dispute between siblings where one refused to leave the other’s residence. Police attended and the subject of complaint agreed to leave.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in a parking lot. Police attended and found the person as described who was awoken, arrested and lodged.
Report of a dispute between a couple. Police attended and they agreed to separate for the evening and reconvene when tempers were no longer flared.
Report of a large group of people congregating in a yard and not respecting social distancing guidelines. Police attended and spoke to the homeowner who was receptive to receiving information and corrected the problems.
Report of a person having taken a very long, expensive taxi ride then trying to skip out on the fare. The passenger was located, arrested and agreed to pay the cab driver instead of being charged.
Report of a person laying in a back alley. Police attended and found the person who was in medical distress. The person was taken to hospital.
Report of an intoxicated person walking around. Police did not locate the person.
Report of an intoxicated person having driven into a family member’s yard, then yelled and left. Police located the subject of complaint nearby who was arrested and lodged before being turned over to a sober family member.
Report of a person being held against their will in a residence. Police attended and spoke to all parties involved and it was learned that no such will holding took place.
April 30
Police requested to check on the wellbeing of a person. Police did just that.
Report of an intoxicated person sitting on the steps of a business. Police located the person at the scene who was given a ride home.
Report of an intoxicated person sleeping in front of a business. Police located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of intoxicated person passed out on roadway. Police located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of intoxicated people drinking alcohol openly on the street. Police located the people as described and both were arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person requesting a restaurant employee to call an ambulance. Police attended and escorted the person to the hospital. The person was later cleared but refused to leave the hospital. Police arrested and lodged the person.
May 1
Report of an intoxicated person refusing to leave a residence. Police attended and found the person still on scene who was arrested and lodged.
Report of a person possibly needing an ambulance, however when ambulance and police arrived, the patient refused any sort of help.
Report of a person not self-isolating after coming from a different province. Investigation revealed that the person did not need to self-isolate as they were gone for medical purposes.
Report of a vehicle having been stolen while keys were left inside. Matter under investigation.
Report of an intoxicated person refusing to leave a residence. While on route, police were informed the person left.
Report of an intoxicated person walking around. Police located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of a possible domestic assault where weapons were used. Police attended and learned that one person was bear sprayed but not domestic assault took place. The person who was sprayed declined charges being laid.
May 2
Report of intoxicated person sleeping in an ATM vestibule. Police located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person wandering around around punching windows. Police located the person who was arrested and lodged.
While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated individual too intoxicated to care for themselves. The person was arrested and lodged.
