A summary of calls to police from Feb. 23-29, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
Feb. 23
While on patrol, police located two intoxicated individuals who were too intoxicated to care for themselves. Both were arrested and lodged.
Report of a foster child not obeying the rules of the home and being out past their curfew. The child returned home a short time later.
Report of an argument between a couple where one party wanted the other removed from the residence. Police advised that having an argument with your spouse is not an arrestable offence.
Report of an intoxicated person causing problems in their residence. Police attended and gave a ride to other people in the residence so that they could leave the person alone.
Report of a disturbance in a residence where a couple was arguing over dogs.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in a snowbank. Police attended and found the person as described, who was arrested and lodged.
Report of a fight in the uptown area. Police attended and but did not locate either combatant
While on patrol, police located two intoxicated people too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police arrested and lodged both people.
Report of an intoxicated person at the hospital having been medically cleared but being too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and offered babysitting services for the night.
Report of an intoxicated person rummaging through a pizza delivery vehicle, then asking the driver for a ride. Police patrolled the area but could not find the hungry person.
Report of a fire in a garbage bin. The caller was not helpful in providing any information to police.
Feb. 24
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in the ATM vestibule.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out behind a local business. Police attended and found the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated youth having just left their school in a vehicle. Police were later informed of a single vehicle colliding with a snow bank. Police attended and located the original subject of complaint who was the vehicle driver. The youth was arrested and taken to hospital for injuries sustained during the collision. The youth was later released and charges will be pending.
Report of a group of possible intoxicated people outside a business. However, when police arrived the people were all sober(ish).
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence causing issues. Police attended and arrested and lodged the mischievous person.
Feb. 25
Report of an intoxicated group of youths drinking in a residence, then leaving but not before breaking a window. Police located one of the youths, the window breaker, who was arrested and lodged.
While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person passed out in an ATM vestibule. The person was arrested and relocated to cells.
Report of a youth having intentionally harmed themselves. Police and ambulance attended and took the intoxicated youth to hospital where they were medically treated, then lodged in cells pending a mental health assessment.
Report of an intoxicated person in the bottom of a business. Police attended and found the person as described. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of a hit and run to a vehicle while both vehicles were in motion. The matter is under investigation.
Report of a domestic assault. Police attended and, through investigation, determined who the arrestable party was. The person was arrested, charged and remanded in custody.
Report of a person hanging on the window and door of a residence then leaving. Police made patrols but could not locate the subject of complaint.
Feb. 26
Report of an intoxicated person bothering patrons at a bar. The caller stated that the subject of complaint is known to be “rowdy”. Unknown if the “rowdy” person is a “Roddy” or a “Ronda”.
Report of a domestic assault. Police attended and arrested a person who was charged and remanded in custody.
An intoxicated caller stated that there were people drinking in a residence while children are present. Police attended and found the subjects of complaint were sober.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in a snowbank. Police were already on scene and arrested and lodged the frosty person.
Report of intoxicated people in an ATM vestibule. Police attended but found no such people.
While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person staggering down the sidewalk. Given the person's advanced state of intoxication, the person was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person attending at residence and yelling at the babysitter. Police attended, found the person still yelling and arrested and lodged them. Unknown if the babysitter received hazard pay.
Report of an argument having occurred in a residence, however when police arrived all, was calm.
Report of an argument between siblings and the parent wanted police to attend and tell them to stop. Police attended and no one would answer the door.
Feb. 27
Report of someone having stolen someone else's beer. Police attended but could not find the Budweiser Bandit.
Report of youths being spotted rummaging through an unlocked vehicle.
Report of two intoxicated people sleeping outside near a residence. Police attended and located both persons who were arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out within the Flin Flon hospital.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in the snow bank. Police attended, arrested and lodged the repeat offender.
Report of people sitting in a restaurant intoxicated and bothering customers and staff. Police attended and located one of the subjects of complaint still yelling at the employee. The person was arrested and lodged.
Feb. 28
Report of an unknown person banging on the door of a residence. Patrols were made, however the door banger was not located.
Open line 911 call where a male and female were hearing arguing. Police attended and learned the male was the person causing problems – therefore they were arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in the lobby of a local hostel. Police attended and located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
While on patrol police located two intoxicated persons yelling at each other and it appeared a fight was imminent. Police intervened and arrested and lodged the two potential pugilists.
Report of intoxicated person at the hospital having been medically cleared however too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attended and gave the person a ride to a sober adult.
Report of a disturbance in a residence where multiple intoxicated people were yelling at the homeowner. Police attended and arrested and lodged three people.
Feb. 29
Report of an intoxicated person “being mean” and refusing to leave a residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged the ill-mannered person.
Report of a fight between a group of people near an uptown business. Police attended but the groups had dispersed.
Report of a disturbance in a back alley. Police attended and located a person who was on no contact conditions with the other party in the dispute. The subject of complaint was arrested and lodged.
While on patrol, police came into a very intoxicated person staggering near the middle of the road. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance in a restaurant. Police located the person a short distance away and they were arrested and lodged.
Report of a disturbance in a residence where the homeowner was getting mad at the complainant. Police attended and learned that it was a verbal argument over property, therefore the complainant was given a ride to a different residence.
Report of an intoxicated person being taken to hospital. The person was treated medically then left the hospital on their own accord.
911 hang up call received to a residence. Police attended and learned intoxicated people were yelling at the babysitter inside. The intoxicated people left prior to police arrival.
Report of a youth out past their curfew and at the residence of their boyfriend. The youth later returned home.
