A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, Oct. 26 to Sunday, Nov. 1:
Monday, Oct. 26
• Report of two windows broken on a parked school bus on Third Avenue.
• Report of an impaired loader operator on Channing Drive. Vehicle not located.
• Report of an intoxicated female refusing to leave a Green Street property. She was arrested and lodged until sober.
Tuesday, Oct. 27
• Reports of vehicles rummaged through overnight
on Princess Boulevard.
Wednesday, Oct. 28
• Report of an intoxicated male banging on his ex-girlfriend’s door on Callinan Street. He left prior to police arrival.
• Report of a male who had attended the Main Gate at Hudbay for a job application. When none could be located, he became upset and left in his vehicle in an erratic manner.
• Report of a cheque that had been cashed at a Highway 10A business. The business owner then learned that the cheque had been cancelled prior to the funds being received. An agreement was made for payment.
• Report of an intoxicated male on Bellevue Avenue who had no place to go. The complainant gave the male a peanut butter sandwich, and the male left on foot. Patrols for him were unsuccessful.
• Report of an intoxicated female on Hapnot Street knocking on doors. She was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of two males fighting at a Second Avenue residence. Police attended and learned it was a verbal argument over a Sony PlayStation.
• Report of an intoxicated female at a residence who was no longer wanted there after a drinking party. She was arrested and lodged until sober.
Thursday, Oct. 29
• Report of two youths attempting to get into cars on Bracken Street. Extensive patrols were unsuccessful.
• Report of a male refusing to leave a Hill Street residence. The female caller was reporting her brother, who wasn’t intoxicated but refused to leave. He left prior to police arrival.
• Report of three males wearing fur-lined parkas in a garage on Queen Street in the middle of the night. Police attended, nothing was missing and the males could not be located.
• Report of an unknown male “huffing” on the steps of the Personal Care Home. Police attended and the male had left. A male matching the description was located but showed no signs of intoxication.
• Report of damage to a parked vehicle on Parkway Boulevard.
• Report of a group of intoxicated people near an uptown business. Police attended and spoke with two males who showed mild signs of intoxication but were with a sober female.
• Report of a child standing in a yard on Terrace Avenue yelling that he wanted his mom. Investigation revealed the child had wandered outside and the door had locked behind him.
• Report of an intoxicated male sleeping behind a Bellevue Avenue garage. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an intoxicated female yelling and refusing to leave a Hill Street residence. She was arrested and lodged until sober.
Friday, Oct. 30
• Report of a chainsaw stolen from a Horace Avenue garage.
• Report of two intoxicated females refusing to leave a Rotary Court residence. Upon police arrival, both agreed to leave the residence and were transported to a residence with a sober adult.
• Report of a window being broken at a Hapnot Street residence. Police attended and investigation revealed the damage occurred while someone attempted to open the window.
• Report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance at a local hotel. She was arrested and lodged until sober. She has been charged accordingly.
• Second-hand report of a male who had jumped into a cab and said he had been threatened by gang members. The complainant did not know the male. Police were unable to locate him to question him further.
• Report of a male lying in the middle of South Hudson Street. Police attended the scene but the male was not located.
Saturday, Oct. 31
• Report of a domestic disturbance at a Main Street residence. Investigation revealed the disturbance was only verbal.
• Report of an alarm at a Fifth Avenue residence. Investigation revealed an intoxicated female had set of the alarm when returning home from the bar.
• Report of an intoxicated male lying on Callinan Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an unwanted female at a Bellevue Avenue residence. Police attended and she was provided with a ride to her residence.
• Report of a vehicle driving erratically on Highway 10 heading toward Channing Drive. Vehicle not located.
• Report of two intoxicated males on Main Street. They were arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a suspicious vehicle parked on Princess Boulevard. Police spoke with the driver, who was providing security for the school during the evening.
• Report of a disturbance at a Hill Street residence. A male was arrested and lodged until sober.
Sunday, Nov. 1
• Report of a child custody issue on Green Street.
• Report of an intoxicated male on Main Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an intoxicated male on Third Avenue. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a break-and-enter to a Ross Street residence. Matter under investigation.
