A summary of calls to police from June 6-12, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
June 6
Report of a person who was believed to be deceased. Police attended and learned that the person was just asleep on a porch.
Report of a jacket with a knife in the pocket hanging in a back alley. Caller was concerned and wanted police to dispose of it. Same completed.
Report of an intoxicated person at the hospital who had been medically cleared but was now just hanging around. Police attended and found the person who did not have a place to go and was too intoxicated to care for themselves, therefore they were arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence refusing to leave. Police attended but the person must’ve changed their mind, as they were gone.
Report of an intoxicated person sleeping on the floor of an ATM vestibule. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.
Report of a person refusing to leave a residence, but then left while the caller was on the phone with the dispatchers.
June 7
Report of a person following someone who they are on conditions to have no contact with. Police made patrols but could not locate the parties involved
Report of people looking into vehicles to see if they are locked. Patrols made but no one seen in the area.
Report of a family dispute where a person was looking for options on what to do.
Report of an intoxicated person who had fell. Police attended and found the person as described. The person did not require medical attention, therefore was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance in front of a store. Police attended and found the person as described who was arrested and lodged.
Report of an assault. Matter under investigation.
Report of a person receiving threats via cell phone. Police reviewed the messages which were not threats.
Open line 911 call where an argument could be heard. Police attended and found all was now fine.
June 8
Report of an intoxicated person who was unable to care for themselves. Police patrolled the area but could not find the subject of complaint.
June 9
Report of intoxicated people refusing to leave a residence. Police attended and they had left already.
While on patrol, police located two people sleeping on the floor of an ATM vestibule. Police arrested and lodged both.
Report of a group of people in front of a business intimidating potential customers. Police attended but the group had dispersed.
Police requested to check on the wellbeing of a person who had not come to work. Police found the person who had slept in.
Report of a fraud done over Facebook.
911 hang up call from a residence. Police attended and all was fine.
Report of unattended children wandering the streets in full diapers. Police attended and were able to identify the children, who were returned to the parents. Child and Family Services was advised.
Report of a person kicking at doors and throwing rocks at windows at a residence.
June 10
Report of a person walking down the street and yelling. Police attended and found the person who was intoxicated. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence getting mad at people. Police attended and found the person had allegedly assaulted their partner. The person was arrested, lodged and ultimately released to appear in court at a later date.
Report of an apparent attempt to break into a residence.
While on patrol, police came into contact with two intoxicated people who were nodding off and could not take care of themselves or one another. Both arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated person bothering customers in a store. Police attended and found the person on scene who was arrested and lodged.
June 11
Report of people heard whistling in a back alley. Police attended but did not locate or hear the whistlers.
Report of threats being uttered to a person.
Report of an intoxicated person laying on the ground near a school. Police attended and found the person who was arrested and lodged.
Report of an assault between family members.
Report of people sleeping in an ATM vestibule. Police attended but the people must’ve woke up and left.
Open line 911 call from a residence. Police attended and found an intoxicated grandchild needed to be removed from a residence. The person was arrested and lodged.
While on patrol, police located two intoxicated people drinking in an ATM vestibule. Both were arrested and lodged.
June 12
Report of an intoxicated person who had been medically cleared but who was refusing to leave the hospital. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.
Report of a break and enter to a residence. Matter under investigation.
First bear call of the year!
While on patrol, police came into contact with an intoxicated person urinating in a back alley. Police arrested and lodged the person.
Report of an injured person in a back alley. Police located the person along with EMS who took the person to hospital. Police learned the injury occurred when the person punched a window at their own residence.
