A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Dec. 8-14:
Monday, Dec. 8
• Report of two intoxicated patrons picked up in Cranberry Portage and transported to Aspen Grove; upon arrival the taxi driver could not wake them up and requested police assistance; patrons woke up when police arrived.
• Reports of unknown vehicles parked for extended periods of time at the 777 mine and the Flin Flon General Hospital.
• Report of motor vehicle collision on South Main Street; no injuries reported.
Wednesday, Dec. 10
• Report of intoxicated male being belligerent with Flin Flon General Hospital staff; male left prior to police arrival and could not be located.
• Early morning alarm call from Manitoba Liquor Control Commission; investigation revealed the loading door had been pried open; matter under investigation.
• Report from North Avenue of male shouting obscenities at a person and then shooting in his direction with a BB gun; matter under investigation.
Thursday, Dec. 11
• Noise complaint from residence at Aspen Grove; police attended and spoke with property representative.
• Report of family dispute on Windsor Avenue.
• Report of intoxicated male passed out in the lobby of a downtown service provider; he was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of possible assault on Second Avenue; police investigation revealed no offence occurred.
• Report of an unoccupied residence on Parkway Boulevard that was not secure; police attended and no persons or damage was observed inside; property representative was contacted.
• Report of eggs being thrown at Main Street business.
• Report of an intoxicated male passed out in front of a Main Street business; male was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a group of intoxicated people banging on a door on Hill Street.
Friday, Dec. 12
• Report of male who stole a $12 bottle of bio-oil from Main Street business; he has been banned from the premises.
• Report of harassing emails; matter under investigation.
• Report of intoxicated male causing disturbance at Aspen Grove; male arrested and lodged until sober.
• Found cell phone turned over to police, who located the owner.
• Police on foot patrol observed a male on Main Street drinking alcohol; he was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an intoxicated male at a local hotel causing a disturbance; he was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a fight involving weapons; police arrested one male; matter under investigation.
Saturday, Dec. 13
• Male driver of a vehicle found to be breaching numerous court-imposed conditions; he was remanded in custody.
• Intoxicated male observed stumbling and holding onto the wall of a Main Street business; police attempted to provide him with a ride to a residence, but after checking police records learned he was on a court-ordered condition not to be near the owner of that property; he was lodged until sober.
• Report of vehicle in the ditch on the old Flin Flon Highway; police attended and observed a male passed out behind the wheel; investigation revealed he was intoxicated; he was arrested and will be charged.
• Report of attempted break-and-enter at Green Street business; security measures in place prevented access from being gained.
• Report of break-and-enter at École McIsaac School; police attended and extensive damage was observed; matter under investigation.
• Report of male who had been pushed by another male on Main Street.
• Report of an intoxicated daughter calling her mother names over the phone; police spoke to her.
• Report of a female fighting with other females at a local hotel; they apparently settled their differences as they all left in a cab together prior to police arrival.
Sunday, Dec. 14
• Report of intoxicated female beating up the complainant; while an attempt was made to gain information, the caller began to laugh and hung up.
• Police requested to check on the wellbeing of an intoxicated male; police attended and the male was located and feeling as good as could be expected after a night of partying.
• Report of disturbance at Hill Street residence where a drinking party was going on and people were now fighting.
