A summary of police calls from Oct. 18-24, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
Oct. 18
Report of an unwanted intoxicated sibling at a door. Police attended and found the person still on scene who was breaching court ordered conditions. They were arrested, lodged and released to appear in court at later date.
Report of a dispute being heard from within a residence, voices are getting raised. Police attended and everyone agreed to calm down.
Report of ATVs driving on a school playground.
Report from a concerned parent that their adult child was doing drugs somewhere.
Oct. 19
Report of an intoxicated person passed out using foliage as a blanket. The person was awoken and had no place to go, therefore they were arrested and lodged.
Report of a break and enter to a residence, nothing appeared to be taken.
Report of a theft from the liquor mart. Matter under investigation.
Report of a domestic assault. Matter under investigation.
Report of a single vehicle collision. Police attended and no one was injured. Tickets issued for various offences.
Report of a person trashing a residence. Police attended and found the intoxicated subject of complaint among the mess. They were arrested and lodged.
Oct. 20
Report of a suspicious person hopping fences and carrying boxes of Christmas ornaments. Police located the person and determined the items were stolen. The person was arrested, lodged and later released to appear in court at a later date.
Report of people seen coming and going from a boarded up and condemned residence.
Report of people being observed possibly doing drugs in a back alley.
Report of an intoxicated person who keeps coming around a residence and is not wanted there. Police made patrols and thwarted their coming back.
Report of a person taking more chips then they paid for, therefore stealing. Patrols made and police could not locate the “Dorito” delinquent.
Report of an intoxicated person trying to get into a residence and they are not wanted there. Police made patrols but could not locate the person.
Report of neighbours yelling at each other and throwing things. Police attended and the people were gone.
Oct. 21
Report of intoxicated people drinking on the steps of a residence and yelling threats towards the home owner. Patrols were made and the group was not located.
Report of an unwanted person trying to get into a residence. Police attended and learned it was a misunderstanding.
Report of a person “feeling like” they were being followed by someone else.
While on patrol, police located two intoxicated people sharing a coffee cup. Police arrested both and found the mug contained a cocktail of hand sanitizer and shampoo. They were both lodged.
Report of an intoxicated bar patron causing a disturbance in a beverage room. Police made patrols and could not locate the person.
Report of an unwanted person knocking on the door of a residence. Patrols made and the person was not located.
Oct. 22
Multiple reports of an intoxicated person at various businesses in Flin Flon and not wanted at any of them. They were eventually located, arrested and lodged.
Report of a person attempting to pass a cheque to a bank teller but instead showed them a pornographic picture. The person has been spoken to about their bad manners.
Report of a person stealing a LED cherry blossom tree. Matter under investigation.
Report of a youth in a residence freaking out and holding a knife. Police attended but the youth left prior to arrival.
Report of intoxicated people at the hospital. Police attended and found two intoxicated people still on scene. They were both arrested and lodged.
Oct. 23
Report of an unruly patient at the hospital. Police attended and the patient was now calm.
Report of people being seen in an abandoned building.
Report of an intoxicated person sleeping in a back alley. Police attended and found the person now awake and stumbling on the road. The person was arrested and lodged.
Two calls received about an intoxicated person knocking on a window then stumbling down the street. Police made patrols but could not locate the person.
Oct. 24
Report of a person stealing Christmas ornaments. The person was later located at a subsequent call of them standing in the lobby of a personal care home, intoxicated and arguing with another person. The shoplifter was arrested and lodged along with another person who was too intoxicated to care for themselves.
Report of a person shoplifting from the liquor store.
Report of a property dispute between landlord and tenant.
Report of an intoxicated person walking along a street. Police attended and located two intoxicated people in the area. Both arrested and lodged.
