A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, June 13 to Sunday, June 19, as provided by the RCMP:

Monday, June 13

• Report made of a male breaching his no-contact order with his ex-girlfriend. Matter is under investigation.

• Report of a loose dog barking at people at the municipal campground. Police attended and advised the owner to keep the dog on a leash.

• While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated male stumbling down the street. He was arrested and lodged.

• Report of a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend in which the boyfriend pushed the female and threatened to kill her. The man was arrested and subsequently charged with multiple offences.

• Report of an assault in which a male youth assaulted a female adult. The male was arrested and subsequently charged with assault.

Tuesday, June 14

• While on patrol, police located a male consuming mouthwash downtown. The male was arrested and lodged in cells under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act.

• Report of a vehicle on fire. Police and firefighters attended. It’s unknown what caused the fire, but it has been deemed unsuspicious at this time.

• Report of a group of persons “having a party” underneath a parkade. Police attended and broke up the meeting.

• Report of a mother allegedly telling her daughter to go kill herself. Matter was referred to Child and Family Services. 

• Report of an intoxicated male on Main Street bothering people. He was arrested and lodged. 

• Report of a male throwing things in his residence after becoming upset during a breakup. Police attended and calmed him down.

Wednesday, June 15

• Report of a male at an apartment complex honking a horn and yelling for someone to open the door. Police attended and spoke to the male, who stated he was trying to wake up his day-shift driver.

• Police received a warrant to arrest a male who had breached conditions of his parole. He was located, arrested and transported to The Pas Correctional Centre.

Thursday, June 16

• Police were approached by a female who was talking nonsensically and seemed to be having a mental-health-related episode. She was transported to Flin Flon General Hospital. 

• Report of a male banging on a female’s door. Police attended and spoke to the female, who stated she barely knew the male. The intoxicated male told police he had a crush on the female. Police told the male that banging on a female’s door while drunk at 4 am is likely not a good way to win her affection. The male was transported home.

• Report of a hit-and-run in an apartment complex parking lot. Matter is under investigation. 

• Report of a male making suicidal comments to his ex-boss. Police spoke to the upset male, who stated he was talking out of anger and had no such plans.

• Report of a male throwing a large stick through a residence window of a residence. Matter is under investigation.

Friday, June 17

• Report of a male noticing a dent on the back of his semi-truck. It’s unknown as to when or where it occurred.

• Report of a hit-and-run on Church Street. 

• Report of a female requesting assistance in locating her daughter. The daughter was located at her aunt’s residence in The Pas.

• Report of two males fighting on the deck of a residence. Police attended and learned that it was two roommates horsing around.

Saturday, June 18

• Report of a domestic assault in which a male broke his girlfriend’s nose. He was subsequently arrested, charged and remanded in custody.

• Report of lawn ornaments beings broken and/or moved around a yard.

• Report of a female causing a disturbance outside a residence.

• Report of a male speeding down a residential street on which kids were outside playing.

• Report of a male receiving threats from
another male via text message.

Sunday, June 19

• Report of an intoxicated male wandering around the emergency department of Flin Flon General Hospital. Police attended and found the original subject of complaint now joined with an intoxicated friend. Both males were arrested and lodged.

• Report of a fight between a mother and daughter at a local bar. Police attended and arrested both family members. The daughter was lodged due to her aggressive behaviour toward police and her mother. No charges were laid.

• Report of a group of people partying and drinking on the street.

• Report of a male waking up angry after noticing his girlfriend was not home. The caller was worried as the male then left the residence to look for his girlfriend. The male was located and had since calmed down and was walking with his cousin.

• Report of an intoxicated male in a grocery store parking lot asking people for money. Police attended and the male was already gone.

• Police on patrol located a very intoxicated male stumbling around. He was arrested and lodged.
