March 22

Report of a fight between siblings where one sibling was hit with a plate in the head. The injured sibling did not want the plate smasher charged.

Report of an intoxicated person in a residence not leaving despite being told to. Police attended and found the person still on scene and still refusing to leave. The person was arrested and lodged in cells.

While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person in a parkade having trouble standing. The person was too intoxicated to care for themselves and had no place to go, therefore they were arrested and lodged.

Report of an argument between a couple in a residence. Police attended and it appeared as though the couple had resolved their differences.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and awoke the person from their slumber, then transported them to cells where they were able to continue sleeping undisturbed.

Report of a person intoxicated and causing a disturbance in a residence. While police were en route, the caller stated police were no longer needed. Dejected, the police did not attend.

 

March 23

Report of a vehicle window being smashed sometime overnight.

While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person too intoxicated to care for themselves. The person could not provide an alternate address to drop them off at, therefore they were arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person struggling to stay awake in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and located the person as described who was arrested and lodged.

Report of two children missing despite the fact the parent knew where they were. One of the youths later returned home and the parent was fine with the fact the other was safe where they were.

Report of an intoxicated person in a residence “getting rowdy”. The police attended and learned from the homeowner that they had sent the rowdy person to bed and police were no longer needed. This didn’t last long, as shortly after police were called back as the rowdy person had come out of hibernation and continued his malfeasance. The person was arrested and lodged.

 

March 24

A mother reported her son just came home advising he was approached by some other people and the youth felt threatened. The youth slapped and pushed one of the persons in a group and was then chased home. Police were later called to the residence as the slappee returned to confront the slapper. No charges to be laid in consultation with all parties.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and located the person who was arrested and lodged.

A person reported that several hours earlier he located a group of youths in his garage drinking. When he told the youths to leave, one pulled out an imitation firearm. The complainant walked towards the youths and they left. The caller was unable to describe the youths involved.

Police requested to keep the peace as a child was being re-homed by CFS. Police kept the peace.

While on patrol, police observed a very intoxicated person. The person was too intoxicated to care for themselves, therefore the person was arrested and lodged.

Report of an argument between a couple where one person stated they would harm themselves to prove a point. Police attended and spoke to both persons who agreed they should separate for the evening.

Report of an intoxicated person in a residence being aggressive and scaring children within. Police attended and tried to speak to the intoxicated person who could not be reasoned with. Police arrested and lodged the person.

Report of an intoxicated person in a residence damaging items within. Police attended and learned the person had left prior to police arrival.

 

March 25

Police asked to attend a residence as a person’s stepchild was being mouthy with their stepparent. Police attended and advised both to get along as best as they can.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in the lobby of a local hostel. Police attended and found the person as described. The person was rehomed to their siblings.

While on patrol, police located two intoxicated people in a parkade too intoxicated to care for themselves or one another. Police arrested and lodged both.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out on the steps in front of a local business. Police attended and located the person as described. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of a person getting angry at a local business after they were told they were banned from the same.

Report of intoxicated people in a residence not leaving despite being asked too. Police attended and learned all parties were now gone.

Report of intoxicated people following pedestrians while they were out on a walk.

Report of a person returning home and finding two people drinking within who the homeowner wanted removed.

Report of a vehicle being spray painted.

 

March 26

Report of a person attempting to harm themselves. Police attended and transported the person to the hospital where they were seen by medical staff.

Report of a child having gone missing from their home. The child was located by a concerned person before the missing person report was received. The child was later reunited with the parent.

Report of a vehicle being spray painted sometime overnight.

Police had received reports of two thefts from the liquor store occurring the two previous days. The suspect was located, arrested and later released for a future court appearance.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out at a local bank. The person was located as described and arrested and lodged.

Report of a 911 call from a residence. Police attended and learned the call was made by mistake.

Report of intoxicated people in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and found the people had moved along.

Report of people fighting in front of a business. Police attended and found they were allegedly play-fighting. Police advised that this type of horse play was not appreciated and the tomfoolery must cease.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in a snowbank. Police attended and had an ambulance attend and transport the person to hospital as they were not responding to police. The person was later medically cleared and lodged in cells.

Report of a fight between two intoxicated roommates. Police attended and identified who was the aggressor who was lodged in cells.

Report of intoxicated people sleeping on the floor of an ATM vestibule. Police attended and arrested and lodged the pair.

Report of intoxicated person coming home and trying to fight other family members. When police arrived they learned the trouble maker had left.

 

March 27

While on patrol, police conducted a traffic stop and located a driver who was on court conditions to abide by a curfew and allow police to search their person and vehicle. The person was arrested for being out past their curfew and a search of that person and their vehicle yielded drugs and money. The person was charged with failing to comply with their court conditions, possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The person was later released to attend court at a later date.

Report of a vehicle doing donuts in a business parking lot. Police were disappointed to learn that there were no actual donuts.

Report of a group of people yelling at one another and threats being uttered. During the fray, a person had been assaulted. Police attended and arrested and lodged four people including two youths. No charges to be laid as per the victim.

Report of an intoxicated person banging on the door of a residence after they had gotten into a fight with the person within. Police attended and located the angry person who was arrested and lodged.

Report of people drinking alcohol in a hallway separating two businesses. Police attended and found two stragglers still drinking. Both were arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person refusing to leave a hostel lobby despite being told to leave. Police attended and located the male who was arrested. The person resisted arrest and in the process assaulted the police officer. The person was lodged in cells and later released pending a future court appearance.

Report of a person feeling threatened after receiving a letter from another person. Police attended and saw the letter which contained no threats.

Report of a fight in front of a local business.

Report of an intoxicated person passed out in front of a business. Police attended and arrested and lodged the passed out person.

 

March 28

Report of a large family fight involving several people. Police attended and arrested and lodged two people who were deemed to be the cause of the problems.

Report of a fight at a residence, however when police arrived, it was learned that no fight took place.

Report of a person who believed they were being followed, however the caller did not leave any personal information to allow police to determine who they were.

Report of a person trying to break into a residence. Police attended and spoke to the homeowner who reported it was actually just people knocking on the door.

Report of an intoxicated person panhandling in front of a business then rubbing their face on the window of a cab. The face rubber was located along with three other intoxicated people under a parkade. All were arrested and lodged.

While on patrol, police observed a person known to have a warrant out for their arrest. The person was arrested without incident and later released on a future court appearance.

Report of an intoxicated person sleeping in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and found the person as described who was arrested and lodged. While en route to lodge the snoozer, police came into contact with another highly intoxicated person. This person was also arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person banging on the door of a residence. Police attended and found the person who was found to be on conditions to abstain from alcohol. The person was arrested and during transport decided they would test how hard their head was and began smashing it against the divider in the police car. The person was taken to hospital, lodged then later released on a future court appearance.

Report of an argument in a residence between two people. Police attended and spoke to the supposed debaters who stated no such argument took place.

Report of a domestic dispute in a residence. Police attended and located the quarrellers and arrested the intoxicated instigator as they were no longer welcome in the home.

Report of a person being threatened while attempting to get back their belongings. The victim declined wanting charges and only wanted their belongings back.

Report of a possible impaired driver. Police attended and located the driver who was, in fact, sober.
