A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Tuesday, Mar.1 to Monday, Mar.7, as provided by the RCMP: 

Tuesday, Mar.1

• Report of mischief to a vehicle on Green Street. Matter still under investigation.

• Report of a disturbance on Main Street. A male was cold and did not want to get off the city bus but had no money to continue on the route. Police received an update prior to arriving that the male chose to leave and assistance was no longer required. The bus was able to continue. 

• Report of mischief on Wallace Avenue. A male was observed hanging around a property. He was observed getting into a vehicle and leaving the area. Police would like to remind the public to report any suspicious behaviour right away.

• Report of cheque fraud at a business on Main Street. Matter still under investigation.

• Report of a disturbance outside a residence on Hill Street. An intoxicated male was yelling to the occupants inside the residence, wanting to be let in. Police attended and located the male, who did not live there or in the immediate area. The male was lodged in cells until sober.

Wednesday, Mar. 2

• Report of a phone fraud. Police want to remind the public to be cautious when providing personal information over the phone.

Thursday, Mar. 3

• Report of mischief on Hiawatha Avenue. A group was inside a residence drinking while the home owner was out of town. The owner wanted them out. Police attended but all had left the area. 

Friday, Mar. 4

• Report of a disturbance on Channing Drive. An intoxicated male was let in by the homeowner and now refusing to leave. The male was also reported to be in possession of an unknown weapon and the owner wanted him out. Police attended and arrested the male, who was not in possession of a weapon. The male was provided a place to sober up. 

• Report of a break-and-enter on Green Street.  At some point overnight someone had broken into a garage on the property. Nothing appeared to be missing. 

• Report of mischief at a business on Highway 10A. two males that had been banned from coming to the business over the weekend prior were now back. Police attended and spoke with the property rep who reported that they had now left. Patrols of the area were unable to locate the males. 

• Report of an intoxicated male staggering in the middle of Third Avenue. Police attended and located the male. Turns out the male was on conditions to abstain from alcohol. The male was given a cell to sober up and released from custody to appear in court at a later date. 

• Report of an assault on Tamarack Drive. Police attended and learned the male suspect had left the area. Police located the male a short time later. The male was put in cells until sober and released to appear in court at a later date. 

• Report of a theft of vehicle from a South Hudson Street residence. The vehicle was located a short time later. Matter still under investigation. 

Saturday, Mar. 5

• Report of a disturbance at a residence on North Avenue. A male was refusing to leave the house. Police attended but the male decided to leave before police arrived. 

• Report of an alarm at a business on Highway 10A. Police were attending and received a call from the owner saying the alarm was set off by accident. 

• Report of a disturbance at a Main Street business. A group of people were hanging around the store bothering customers. Police attended but the group had since left the area. 

• Report of a disturbance at a residence on Callinan Street. An intoxicated female phoned wanting police to come as people were trying to fight her. Police attended but the female and possible suspects had left the house. Matter still under investigation.

• Report of a disturbance at a local bar. An intoxicated female was refusing to leave and throwing items. Police attended but the female had since left. A second call was received a short time later indicating that the same female was now walking on Main Street into traffic. Police made patrols but could not locate her.

• Report of a suspicious group of kids near Hapnot Collegiate. The group was walking around the school with flashlights. Police attended but no persons were located. 

• Police patrolling Tweedsmuir Street located an intoxicated female staggering on the road. Police took her into custody for the night to sober up.

Sunday, Mar. 6

• Report of a break-and-enter at a residence on Ross Street.  Matter still under investigation.

• Report of suicide threats.

Monday, Mar. 7

• Report of mischief on Queen Street. An unknown male was seen trying to break into a garage. The male was chased off by the homeowner. Police made patrols of the area but were not able to locate him.

• Report of a break-and-enter to a business on Main Street. During the night, entry was gained and items were taken. Matter still under investigation. 

• Report of a hit and run at a business on Highway 10A. Matter still under investigation.

• A mother and son were having an argument and walked into the police detachment lobby. Police contacted CFS for further assistance.
