A summary of calls to police from June 20-26, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:
June 20
While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person sleeping in an ATM vestibule. The person was arrested and rehomed to cells.
Report of an intoxicated person unwanted at a residence and banging on the door. Police attended and found the person on scene, who was arrested and lodged.
Report of a dispute between a couple in a residence. Police attended and one of them agreed to leave for the night.
Report of intoxicated people in a residence who had worn out their welcome. Police attended and found one person had left and the other was now asleep. The homeowner allowed the sleeping person to stay.
Report of a theft from the liquor store. Ongoing issue involving the same person. Matter under investigation.
Report of a person who had been kicked out of a residence now having a party within. Police attended and found people who were helping their friend move.
While on patrol, police located an intoxicated person who was far too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police attempted to bring the person home, however they were not accepted there. The person was arrested and lodged.
June 21
While on patrol, police located two intoxicated people sleeping outside of the hospital. Both were arrested and lodged.
Report of a person in a backyard refusing to leave when asked. Police attended and were able to convince the person to leave.
Report of people approaching a stranger on the street asking for someone the stranger didn’t know and attempting to intimidate the stranger.
Report of an intoxicated person harassing patrons in front of a bank. Police attended but the person had moved along.
Report of an intoxicated person stumbling down the street. Police attended and found the person now laying in the grass. The person was arrested and lodged.
Bears doing bear stuff.
Report of an intoxicated person in a residence acting up. Police attended and the person agreed to go to sleep.
Report of youths climbing on roofs. Police attended and took the youths home.
June 22
Report of a disturbance being overheard during a 911 call from a residence. Police attended and found a couple in a verbal dispute. They agreed to separate for the night.
Report of an intoxicated person having been medically cleared from the hospital but is too intoxicated to release. Police attended and drove the person home.
Report of a dispute where an adult child threw a ladder through their parent’s residence. The parent did not want them charged.
Report of an intoxicated person running around unclothed and with injuries. Police attended, but the person would not cooperate with the investigation.
June 23
Report of a suitcase being found laying out in the open.
Report of a break-in to a residence, however when the complainant was on the phone they changed their mind about wanting police. Police learned it was a family dispute.
June 24
Report of an intoxicated person screaming and kicking at a door of a residence. Police attended and found the person as described, who was breaching conditions of a court order. The person was arrested, lodged and remanded in custody.
Report of a person almost being struck by a vehicle that ran a red light.
Report of a break and enter to a residence. Matter under investigation.
Report of a van stolen from a residence. The van was located later on in the week in a nearby community. Matter is still under investigation.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out near a business.
Report of a missing person. The person was located a few days later.
Report of a person driving erratically, then dancing in the middle of the street.
Report of a person being chased by a vehicle.
Report of an intoxicated person who had locked themselves in the hospital bathroom.
Report of a dispute between a couple that was escalating.
Report of a domestic assault. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A person was arrested and remanded for charges of aggravated assault and assault by choking. Police continue to investigate.
Report of a person expressing ideations of self-harm, then leaving their residence. Police later located the person who was feeling much better.
June 25
Report of an intoxicated person sitting in the middle of the road.
Report of deliberate damage being done to the Flin Flon Pride crosswalk. Matter under investigation.
EMS requesting police attend for a call of an unknown situation. Police and EMS attended and learned the subject of complaint had left.
Report of a person falsely accusing someone of stealing items that had been lawfully purchased.
Report of a patient becoming violent with hospital staff.
June 26
Report of a vehicle colliding with a building.
Report of an assault. Matter under investigation.
Report of a person laying on the road, caller concerned they may have been struck by a motorist. Police, fire department and EMS attended and found no evidence to suggest the person had been hit. The person was taken to hospital for precautionary measures.
Report of an intoxicated person passed out in some bushes. Police attended and found the person as described. The person was arrested and upon being searched, police located a substance believed to be cocaine. The person was lodged and released to appear in court at a later date.
While on patrol, police located a person who was too intoxicated to care for themselves and had no place to go. The person was arrested and lodged.
Report of an intoxicated roommate who just broke a window at a residence. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.
Report of people arguing outside of a residence. Police attended but the arguers had left.
