A summary of police calls from Sept. 13-19, as submitted by Flin Flon RCMP:

 

Sept. 13

Report of an intoxicated patient at Flin Flon Hospital who had been medically cleared but was too intoxicated to release on their own. Police attended and drove the person to a sober relative.

Police requested to assist staff at a nursing home with a violent patient. Police attended and kept the peace.

911 hang up call where people could be hear fighting. Police attended and arrested two people in the residence. Both were lodged.

Report of people fighting in a residence. Police attended and found one of the people inside was breaching numerous conditions. The person was arrested, lodged and remanded in custody.

 

Sept. 14

Report of an intoxicated person sleeping in an ATM vestibule. Police attended and found the person as described. They were arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person causing problems in a residence. Police attended and found the caller was actually the problem. Police left a short time later.

False report received of a person having been assaulted.

Report of a person expressing ideations of self-harm online to another person. The person was taken to the hospital.

Report of a dispute between roommates. Police attended and all was now calm.

Report of a theft from the liquor store. Matter under investigation.

While on patrol, police located two very intoxicated people too intoxicated to care for themselves. Police arrested both and lodged both.

Report of an unknown situation. Police attended and found a domestic assault. Two persons were arrested, taken to hospital for medical attention, lodged and released to appear in court at a later date. One person will be charged with assault causing bodily harm and the other will be charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.

 

Sept. 15

Report of people walking through a yard with a cooler on wheels. Police made a patrol but could not locate the party.

Report of an alleged kidnapping. Investigation revealed nothing to substantiate the claim.

Report of perceived harassment.

Report of a person urinating in a parking lot. Police made patrols but could not locate the non-housebroken person.

Report of an intoxicated person walking in and out of traffic harassing people. Police located the person who was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person screaming and yelling at other people on the street. Police located the angry person who was arrested and lodged.

Report of an intoxicated person having been medically cleared from hospital but was too intoxicated to care for himself. Police attended and arrested and lodged the person.

Report of a gunshots being heard. Police made patrols but were unable to locate any shell casings or evidence to support there were actual shots.

 

Sept. 16

Report of a disturbance outside a residence where people were banging on doors.

Report of a person hearing rumours about themselves.

Report of a firearm being located in the bushes. Police attended and seized same.

Report of a person advising they had attended a party and found a toddler being unattended to in the residence while several drunk people partied around. The caller advised they took the baby to care for them and the parent was aware.

 

Sept. 17

Report of people knocking on the door of a residence. Patrols were made but the doorknockers were not located.

Report of a vehicle being damaged overnight.

Report of an intoxicated person drinking alcohol uptown. Police attended but the person was getting into a cab with a sober adult who agreed to care for the intoxicated person.

Report of an intoxicated person diving into traffic. Police attended and located the person who was arrested and lodged.

While on patrol, police were flagged down for a fight. Police attended and arrested and lodged a person.

Report of a domestic dispute in a residence, only verbal. Police called the complainant back who agreed to leave the residence.

 

Sept. 18

Report of a loud motor or generator running. The noise ceased a short time later.

Report of a person finding bones buried on their property. Investigation revealed they were animal bones.

Report of a person knocking on the door of a residence. Police spoke to the homeowner who advised the person was now gone.

Report of an abandoned vehicle. The owner showed as the vehicle was being towed.

Report of a possible intoxicated driver. Police located the vehicle and driver who was determined to be sober.

Report of a single vehicle roll over. Police attended and learned the driver was impaired. The driver was arrested and provided breath samples over three times the legal limit. The person was lodged and later released to appear in court at a later date.

Report of a possible fire. Turned out to be a cooking mishap.

While on patrol, police located a very intoxicated person too intoxicated to care for themselves. The person was arrested and lodged.

Report of a possible break and enter to a business. Police attended and found no evidence to support same.

Report of someone taking a sandwich from an artist without paying for same.

 

Sept. 19

Report of a trio of people outside of a broken down vehicle, all intoxicated and arguing with one another. Police attended and arrested all three, who were lodged in cells.
