A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday July 6 to Sunday, July 12: Monday, July 6 • Report of disturbance on First Avenue. Investigation revealed the subject of complaint was breaching his parole violations.

A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday July 6 to Sunday, July 12:

Monday, July 6

• Report of disturbance on First Avenue. Investigation revealed the subject of complaint was breaching his parole violations. The male did not appreciate the officers attending the scene and threatened to kill them. He has been remanded in custody.

• Report of a stabbing victim at Flin Flon General Hospital. Investigation revealed the male was from Pelican Narrows.

• Report of a 911 call on Third Avenue. Investigation revealed small children may have dialed.

• Report of an unknown male sleeping in the bushes behind a downtown business. He could not be located.

• Report of a child who went to pet an unknown dog on a leash and was bit at Aspen Grove.

• Report of a fight between two females on Hapnot Street. Fight was deemed consensual.

Tuesday, July 7

• Report of an intoxicated male following a female while yelling and swearing at her on Phelan Avenue. He could not be located.

• Report of a loud noise from a Ross Street resident’s neighbour. Police attended the scene to find the neighbour had loaded something heavy onto the back of a truck, accounting for the noise.

• Report of a 911 call from a Bay Avenue residence. Police attended and spoke with two people on scene who both denied calling 911.

• A concerned citizen attended the detachment to report two young children who appear to always be playing on Church Street.

• Police called to assist with an unruly patient at Flin Flon General Hospital.

• Report of two females fighting on Main Street. Police attended but could not locate the females involved.

• Report of a stolen bike that was reported on Facebook as being ridden by a youth at Aspen Grove.

• Report of an intoxicated female sitting by the crosswalk on Highway 10A. She was transported to her residence and handed over to a sober person. A short time later she was observed sitting in the same area. She was arrested and lodged until sober.

• Report of two males sniffing bags of gasoline behind a downtown business. Both males were arrested and lodged until sober.

Wednesday, July 8

• Report of an intoxicated male at an uptown service provider. The male was arrested and lodged until sober.

Thursday, July 9

• Noise complaint received from a Hill Street residence. Police spoke to the property rep.

• Report of a noisy truck going too fast on Boam Street. Police spoke to the owner.

• Report of a theft of solar lights on Scarth Street. No suspects at this time.

• Report of a hit and run causing damage to a vehicle either at a downtown business or a downtown restaurant.

• Report of an intoxicated female passed out on a Main Street bench. She was arrested and lodged until sober.

• Report of an unwanted guest on McKeen Avenue. Investigation revealed the matter to be civil.

• Report of fire extinguished by Flin Flon Fire Department on path to Cliff Lake. No suspects at this time.

• Report of an intoxicated male passed out on Church Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.

• 911 call of an assault on Third Avenue. Police arrived on scene and no one claimed to have been assaulted or witnessed an assault. Investigation revealed the call was made to remove an unwanted guest.

Friday, July 10

• Report of a mother and daughter fighting on Hapnot Street. Police attended the scene and both were found to be intoxicated. Both were arrested and lodged until sober.

• Report of a break and enter to a Main Street residence. Matter under investigation.

• Report of an ATV located on Cliff Lake Road by the gate to Cliff Lake. The ATV was towed to a local establishment.

• Report of an intoxicated male on Main Street. When the police arrived on scene, he was punching a metal pole and appeared agitated. He was arrested and lodged until sober.

• Police attended a disturbance call on Hemlock Drive in which a 17-year-old and a 12-year-old female were attempting to get a 19-year-old out of the residence to fight. The matter had a Facebook element to it and a boyfriend was involved. Matter was solved peacefully.

• Reports of a bear on Manitoba Avenue and Green Street. Police were unable to locate the animal.

Saturday, July 11

• Report of a loud party on Adams Street. Police attended and shut down the party.

• Report of a domestic incident in progress in the Bellevue Avenue back lane. A 19-year-old male was arrested for assaulting his 17-year-old girlfriend.

• Report of three intoxicated males walking down the back lane of Main Street. Police attended and the males were not intoxicated, but had a verbal altercation with the complainant.

• Report of a one-hit alarm from a Green Street business. Alarm deemed to be false.

• Report of an intoxicated male taking half-full cans from the beer gardens on Boam Street. He was arrested and lodged until sober.

• Reports from Child and Family Services in Calgary of a local man sending threatening
messages over Facebook. The matter is under
investigation.

• Report of people being evicted from a Hill Street residence and now squatters are apparently inside.

• Report of a three-hit alarm from a South Hudson Street business. Alarm deemed to be false.

• Citizens on Patrol reported a vehicle driving without a licence plate on North Avenue.

Sunday, July 12

• Report of a rock being thrown through the back window of a vehicle parked in the back lane of Church Avenue. Matter is under investigation.

• Report of a possible impaired driver on Main Street. The vehicle was not located.

• Report of a possible impaired driver on Third Avenue. The vehicle was later located with no
occupants.

• Report of a domestic assault on First Avenue. The matter is under
investigation.

• Citizens on Patrol reported an unregistered motor vehicle on Channing Drive. Vehicle located and found to be registered.
