A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the week of Feb. 23 to March 1:
Monday, Feb. 23
• Report of people selling stolen items behind a Main Street business. Police attended and arrested a male and female who were found to be in possession of stolen items.
• Report of a disturbance on Hapnot Street in which two neighbours were yelling at each other.
Tuesday, Feb. 24
• Report of an intoxicated male yelling in a Main Street business. Police attended and arrested a male, who was lodged until sober.
• Report of an unwanted intoxicated male at a South Hudson Street residence. The male was arrested and lodged until sober.
Wednesday, Feb. 25
• Report on unknown males drinking under the ramp at Flin Flon General Hospital. Police attended but the males had left.
• Report of an intoxicated male at Flin Flon Public Library. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a male verbally abusing staff at the Flin Flon General Hospital clinic. Police spoke to the male regarding his behaviour.
• Report of a business alarm on South Hudson Street. The alarm was cancelled prior to police arrival.
Thursday, Feb. 26
• Police responded to a disturbance on South Hudson Street in which occupants were arguing and calling each other names.
• Report received of an alarm at École McIsaac School. Investigation revealed the alarm to be false.
• Report of assault at an Aspen Grove residence. Matter under investigation.
• Report of credit card fraud in which the complainant agreed to purchase protein products over the Internet only to realize a charge of $700 was applied to her credit card the next day.
• Report of an intoxicated female at a downtown service provider. She was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of an intoxicated male at a local grocery store. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of damage to a vehicle parked on Main Street. No suspects at this time.
• Report of a black Dodge truck swerving all over the road on Dominion Boulevard. Matter under investigation.
• Report of an abandoned 911 call on Church Street. Investigation revealed a young child had been playing with the phone.
• Report of an intoxicated male walking on South Hudson Street. The male was arrested and lodged until sober.
Friday, Feb. 27
• Report of an assault on Hapnot Street. Matter under investigation.
• Report of a 911 call hang-up on Hapnot Street. Police attended and determined that nothing criminal had happened.
• Report of an intoxicated female on Main Street. She was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of a stray dog without a collar on Terrace Avenue.
• Report of an alarm at a South Hudson Street business. Alarm cancelled by property rep prior to police arrival.
• Report of two intoxicated males causing a disturbance on Island Drive. They were arrested and lodged until sober.
Saturday, Feb. 28
• Report of a vehicle taken without the owner’s consent and returned a short time later.
• Report of an intoxicated male youth in the back lane of Anderson Avenue. He was located a short time later and found to be breaching numerous conditions. He was arrested and remanded in custody.
• Report of an assault on Hill Street. Matter under investigation.
• Report of an intoxicated patient at Flin Flon General Hospital who had been medically cleared. She was lodged until sober.
• Report of an intoxicated male passed out in the entrance of a Main Street business. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Two male youth caught attempting to steal a battery from a Flintoba Shopping Centre business. They will be banned from the premises.
• Report of a female who had been sitting in the bus shelter at the Flintoba Shopping Centre for a lengthy period of time. She got on the bus when it arrived.
• Report of an unwanted female at a Callinan Street residence. She left upon police arrival.
• Report of an intoxicated male under the ramp at Flin Flon General Hospital. Police attended and arrested the male, who was lodged until sober.
• Report of a disturbance at a Hill Street residence. Police attended and the disturbance was caused by a family argument.
• Report of an erratic driver on Main Street.
Sunday, March 1
• Report of an intoxicated male patient who had been medically cleared by Flin Flon General Hospital staff. Upon arrival, police learned a family member would attend and care for the male.
• Report of a disturbance on Centre Street in which an ex-girlfriend was upset that her ex-boyfriend had been dating.
• Report that the MTS tower on Trout Lake mine road had no operating lights on it.
• Report of an intoxicated male walking on Highway 10A. Patrols were made but he was not located.
• Report of a disturbance in the parking lot of Aspen Grove. One intoxicated male was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of threats made via Facebook.
