A summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Jan. 26 to Feb. 1:
Monday, Jan. 26
• Report of theft of chocolate bar from Third Avenue business; police spoke with the 12-year-old youth, parent and business owner.
• 911 call from anonymous male who requested police attend to Duck Bay; when the dispatcher attempted to obtain further details, the male became verbally abusive and hung up.
Tuesday, Jan. 27
• Report of theft of a truck on Parkway Boulevard in which the keys were left in the truck; the truck was located a short time later parked on Ash Crescent; matter still under investigation.
• Report of an assault on Hapnot Street; a male was arrested a short time later and charged with assault and failing to comply with his probation order; he was remanded in custody.
• Report of an intoxicated female who did not have money to pay for a taxi and whose parents were not answering the phone; she was provided with a ride home and her father agreed to supervise her.
Wednesday, Jan. 28
• Report of a residential alarm on Milton Street; investigation revealed the alarm to be false.
• Report of damage to a side mirror on a vehicle parked on Parkway Boulevard.
• Report of vehicles travelling at high speeds on back lane of Main Street; matter under investigation.
• Report of an intoxicated male requesting to enter a person’s residence to wash his face and use the phone; the male was denied entry and attempts to locate the male were unsuccessful.
• Report of loud music being played in an apartment on Callinan Street; officers attended and spoke with the property representative.
• Police requested to attend a residence on Hiawatha Street to keep the peace while a female removed her property from the residence.
Thursday, Jan. 29
• Report of an intoxicated male being assaulted by four people in front of a downtown service provider; no descriptions of the suspects were obtained by the victim; victim was not injured.
• Report of a loud party on Callinan Street; police attended and spoke with the property representative.
• Report of a female who refused to pay her taxi fare; she was charged under The Taxicab Act.
• Report of an intoxicated male at a residence on Third Avenue who was refusing to leave; male was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of hit and run to a vehicle on Main Street; no suspects at this time.
• Report of suspicious persons in backyard of residence on Queen Street; police attended and the persons were changing the tires on a truck that were slashed the previous night.
• Report of an intoxicated female on Main Street; female could not be located.
• Report of a 12-year-old youth who was reported missing on Second Avenue; the youth returned home a short time later.
• Report of an assault in which a seven-year-old was beaten up by two 10-year-olds.
Friday, Jan. 30
• Report from City Hall that $600 had been stolen from a deposit bag; matter under investigation.
• Report of a male who is on a court-imposed 24-hour curfew breaching that curfew; matter under investigation.
• Report of an intoxicated female lying beside the road on South Hudson Street; the female was arrested and lodged till sober.
• Report of a male with a stab wound at the Flin Flon General Hospital; police attended and learned the wound had been received in Pelican Narrows.
Saturday, Jan. 31
• Report of an intoxicated female at a local hotel; she was arrested and lodged but during the arrest assaulted a police officer.
• Report of a business alarm on South Hudson Street; alarm deemed to be false.
• Report of loud music being played at residence on Main Street.
• Report of an assault on North Avenue; matter still under investigation.
Sunday, Feb. 1
• Report of a disturbance between a female adult and male youth on Church Street; the youth was being disrespectful and swearing at the female.
• Another report of a male with a stab wound at the Flin Flon General Hospital; police attended and learned the wound was received in Pelican Narrows.
• Report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at a residence on South Hudson Street; the male was arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of intoxicated males who were refused service at a local hotel getting into a vehicle and driving; patrols were made for the vehicle but it was not located.
• Police responded to suicide threats on Green Street and North Avenue.
