A condensed summary of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the period of Monday, Oct. 5 to Sunday, Oct. 11:
Monday, Oct. 5
• Report of a fire at a semi-trailer on the Perimeter Highway. The rear wheels had overheated and caught fire.
• Report of a stolen trailer on South Hudson Street. The trailer had been borrowed by the landlord.
• Report of a stolen bike from a Flintoba Shopping Centre business. Matter under investigation.
Tuesday, Oct. 6
• Report of a domestic disturbance on Hudson Street. A male was arrested and has been charged with assault and failing to comply with conditions.
• Report of a fight between a mother and daughter on South Hudson Street. Both combatants were removed from the residence.
• Report of a disturbance on Tweedsmuir Street in which two females were yelling at each other. They had left their grandmother’s residence prior to police arrival.
• Report of a male passed out in some bushes on Third Avenue. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
Wednesday, Oct. 7
• Report of a female who had been in the Duck Pond and was now walking on Ross Street. Police located her and she was provided with a ride home.
• Report of an ongoing issue with vehicles failing to stop at the Green Street and Whitney Street intersection.
• Report of a 911 call from École McIsaac School. The nine-year-old youth had dialed as a joke.
• Report of a hit and run causing damage to a parked vehicle at the Flintoba Shopping Centre.
Thursday, Oct. 8
• Report of two guitars valued at $950 stolen from a vehicle parked on Windsor Avenue.
• Report of a fight between an 11-year-old female and a 12-year-old female at Rotary Park during lunch hour.
• Report from a concerned parent that her five-year-old child was being bullied at school.
• Report of a 13-year-old youth getting assaulted at a schoolyard after school hours by a number of youth the same age. Matter under investigation.
Friday, Oct. 9
• Report of dangerous driving on Highway 10A. A driver had cut another driver off and when he “flipped him the bird,” the driver began to follow him. Matter under investigation.
• Report of an assault between two females on Hapnot Street. One intoxicated female had confronted the other about being with a guy, and the fight was on. Matter under investigation.
• Report of a Callinan Street house being egged. Suspect known to the complainant as he had been bothering her son.
• Report of an intoxicated female at the Duck Pond. She was transported to Flin Flon General Hospital due to the high level of alcohol in her system.
Saturday, Oct. 10
• Report of a disturbance at an Aspen Grove apartment. Two intoxicated females were arrested and lodged until sober.
• Report of suicide threats on Fifth Avenue.
• Request to attend a residence to keep the peace as the complainant wanted to attend his sisters’ residence to obtain some his belongings. The items had already been placed by the street.
• Report of a break-and-enter and theft of a chainsaw from a locked shed on Church Street.
• Report of yelling and screaming coming from a Second Avenue residence. Police attended and investigation revealed that issues concerning discipline were involved regarding a 12-year-old youth.
• Report that while a female was shopping at a Flintoba Shopping Centre business, someone had placed a used bike into the back of her truck.
• Report of a fight between numerous people inside and outside a Second Avenue residence. Police were on scene in minutes, but they had all left. Property rep refused to provide details.
• Report of kids throwing rocks on Ross Street. They had left prior to police arrival.
• Report of gunshots being heard from a resident in the Prince Charles Place area. Police made extensive patrols but nothing was located.
Sunday, Oct. 11
• Report of an intoxicated male who broke a window at a local bar. He was arrested and lodged until sober. He paid for the window.
• Report of a party at an Aspen Grove residence at which the caller was concerned as his children were present. Police attended and sober adults were present.
• Report of kids throwing rocks on Whitney Street. They were not located.
