A cheery crowd came out for a spring tea and bake sale at the Northminster Memorial United Church last weekend, including (top photo, from left) Pastor Alex McGilvery, Tim Spencer, John Taylor, volunteer Shelley Pelletier, Ellie Spencer and Alexandra Béasse. The ladies of the church prepared tea for the crowd. Volunteers included (middle photo, from left) Linda Oke, Nel Jebsen, Lynda Ferre, Sophie Riehl, Jeanette Smith and Karen Mote. Meanwhile, Fern Kozak of Creighton (left) will be front and centre for the Flin Flon Community Choir’s production of Les Misérables this May. She was the winner of two front-row tickets at the tea and bake sale.
