Flin Flon’s MLA hopefuls will go head to head on Monday, April 4 when the Flin Flon and District Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Flin Flon, hosts a public debate for the candidates.

“The chamber is a representation of local business and economic growth, and politics is directly related to that,” said chamber president Dianne Russell.

“It’s about the community taking advantage of the opportunity to vote, and to be informed when they vote.”

Dave Kendall, a chamber director, will moderate the debate, with questions prepared in advance.

Russell said chamber members have been invited to submit questions or topics they would like addressed in the debate.

The debate will be held at 7 pm in the council chambers at Flin Flon City Hall.  The public is invited to attend.

The Manitoba election will take place on April 19.
