A 46-year-old Flin Flon man has been arrested after allegedly threatening to kill a woman with whom he had once been in a relationship.
Police responded to the incident on Hapnot Street last Thursday, July 16, shortly after 12:30 pm, said Cpl. Stacy Wiens of the Flin Flon RCMP.
Wiens said the threat followed an argument and that alcohol was not a factor. A friend of the victim’s reported the threat to police.
The man, whose name could not be released, was arrested and released with the expectation he will be charged with one count of uttering threats.
As of Monday, the man had not been charged but Wiens said the charge was expected shortly.
Wiens confirmed the accused had previously been in a relationship with the victim, who is also a Flin Flon resident.
