It only took a few minutes for firefighters to extinguish a small bush fire Tuesday evening behind the Northern Lights Manor. But Fire Chief Jim Petrie did not take the incident lightly. "It was very close to the manor, and if would have been dryer and there would have been more time for it to burn... it was close enough to the manor that anything's possible," he said. The cause of the fire, reported at about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, remains under investigation. Firefighters also responded to a false alarm at McIsaac School Ecole McIsaac yesterday morning.
