Submitted Article Clubs were swinging for the final time as the Phantom Lake Golf Club hosted its closing day earlier this month. Hosted on Sept. 17, the Men's Championship was based on points awarded over four rounds, which were played on Opening Day, Trout Festival Tournament, Walt Cunningham Labour Day Classic and Closing Day. D.J. Wilson took first place in the first Flight as well as the Men's Club Champion. Leon Janvier earned himself the second Flight winning title while the third Flight went to Brian Bortis. In the fourth Flight, Al Sproxton took first place. For the women, Judy Maitland took first place in the first Flight. Anna McEachern earned the second Flight title.
