A selection of calls to the Flin Flon RCMP for the week of August 4-10:
Monday, August 4
• A man from The Pas and a woman from Winnipegosis arrested after police located 8.5 pounds of marijuana in a vehicle; both charged for trafficking. (An initial media release incorrectly stated that the man was a Flin Flon resident.)
Tuesday, August 5
No calls.
Wednesday, August 6
• Report of a hit and run on Hapnot Street.
• Report of a possible impaired driver on the Perimeter Highway; female driver determined to be impaired and charged accordingly.
Thursday, August 7
• Report of a male patron at a local bar refusing staff direction to leave; police attended but he had since left.
• Report of males accessing the fire escape and possibly going on the roof of a local hotel; police attended but subjects gone on arrival.
Friday, August 8
• Report of a male on the Perimeter Highway stepping into traffic; police attended and patrols were negative.
• Report of harassment from neighbour
on Adams Street.
Saturday, August 9
• Report of stolen wallet on Hammel Street.
• Report of teenage males walking with open liquor on Bellevue Avenue.
• Report of a loud party on Adams Street; police attended and ended it,
and assisted with transportation.
• Report of a loud party on Hapnot Street; police attended.
• Report of an intoxicated male on Callinan Street; police attended and arrested him.
• Report of an unruly patron at a local hotel; subject gone on arrival but later located and arrested.
Sunday, August 10
• Report of an intoxicated male refusing to pay for taxi fare; subject arrested and charged.
