Authorities confirm that a swimming accident recently claimed the life of a former Flin Flonner in Ontario. The 24-year-old victim, who was living in Callander, Ont., was at Teddy Falls in Marter Township the afternoon of Saturday, July 13. Police said the victim jumped from the top of the water falls into the water and surfaced momentarily before disappearing below the water, the North Bay Nugget reports. Friends were unable to locate him after the jump and a search and rescue team located the victim the following afternoon, July 14, the newspaper reports on its website. Callander is a small community located just south of North Bay in northeastern Ontario.
