Submitted by Habitat 53 Chapter Flin Flon's Habitat for Humanity chapter has expanded its borders. The Habitat 53 Chapter in Flin Flon has learned Habitat Canada has given Habitat Manitoba permission to extend their borders to include Creighton and Denare Beach. The local chapter was officially formed as a chapter of Habitat Manitoba in May, joining other chapters across the province in building homes for purchase by low-income families. The local executive and committees have been working in Flin Flon and can now expand their plans to include Creighton and Denare Beach. They continue to fundraise with a penny drive underway and have plans for other events in the near future, including a fall coffee house.
