Army, sea and air cadets from across Northern Manitoba brushed up on their target practice in Flin Flon last weekend. The 2328 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps. hosted the local sea cadets as well as air cadets from The Pas and Thompson for a standing position rifle clinic. The exercise took place at the cadets' training facility on Timber Lane. "Any target competition Ñ national or international Ñ has a standing component to it," noted Commanding Officer. Bill McLean of the local army cadets. A total of 25 cadets took part in the exercise, using .177 Daisy air rifles. Lt. Clarence Lazaruk of Russell and Lt. Ken Hlady of Winnipeg were the instructors.
