Picking up and dropping off passengers is getting much more convenient for drivers in downtown Flin Flon.
City council on Tuesday gave final reading to a motion to reserve three parking spots on Main Street specifically for these quick stops:
• on the east side of Main Street between Ginnell Bauman Watt Law Corp.
and Instaloans;
• on the west side of Main Street near the Steel Centre union hall; and
• on the east side of Main Street in front of Pioneer Square and Subway.
The spots will be identified for drop-offs and pick-ups. They will be open to the Lions Handivan, taxis and everyday motorists.
